Chapter 7- While She was gone...

(3rd Person Pov)

Shoko collapsed as she was talking to Toya...

Toya on the other hand got flustered and panicked as he saw his lil sis on the ground.

Soon enough he ran towards Endeavor who was telling Shoto how he was gonna be The strongest No. 1 hero....Hearing this did affect Toya...

His heart ached but all those things did'nt matter.

His lil sister was in trouble!

Thats all that mattered to him now!

"Father!"

He shouts

"Shoko has collapsed!"

He said crying.

"Shoko is not responding...But shes breathing... Take her to the hospital... Please..."

"What!?"

"What happend to ko ko...?"

Shoto who was shocked by Toya's words...

"Dad! Dad! I wanna see shoko! We need to save her!"

After watching the reaction of shoto towards, that mediocre useless child of his.

He couldnt help but take her to the hospital.

After the tests it was confirmed that the reason why she collapsed was due to the consumption of flames!

Tremendous amount of blue flames!

The doctors were in utter shock that a child that young had the power to absorb so much...

More shocking thing for them was her will power to endure it, as they asked Toya about what exactly happened. They were beyond shocked...Thinking how the heck she was talking after absorbing so much.

As they researched more. They could tell what her quirk was and what were its drawback.

They then showed the reports to Endeavor...
He was amazed by the quirk that mediocre child of his had manifested my herself.
The quirk was even more varient and had adaptive tendencies.

Endeavor thought it was the perfect having twins with the power beyond any hero's own. In his eyes both Shoko and Shoto were his assets for fame. For him it was like hitting a lottery.

He went to the hospital where Shoko was kept everyday, showing how much of a caring father he was.

He also made Shoto go through harsh training, same as he did with Toya...

Shoto would get tired of all the training... Even though he was excited at first, he felt the training was too much for him...He even wanted to see his sister who was in the hospital

"Dad...Can I take a break?", little Shoto asked panting.

"No you can not. Try to endure more! You want to be the No. 1 hero don't you."

"Dad...Where is Shoko? I... Want to see her."

"If want to see her you have to train as much as you can. You can not see her if you're so childish!"

"Yes father."

Shoto really wanted to see her, he would put more and more effort to be stronger.

"Come at me harder!"
"Don't cry like a fool! That hit was nothing!"
"Dont act like a weakling!"

Rei didn't wanted his other son to go through the same fate...But was helpless...

"Stop with this much training... Shoto is just a child"

"What are you doing here?!"

"I'm looking after my son..."

"What? Looking after him? Your only purpose was to give birth to my children. You needn't to look after them."

"But Shoto is exhausted..."

"Get out...!"

"But..."

Endeavor would drive Rei out and even torture her...

On the other hand Toya would lock himself up like a lost cause...

Even when he would go to train himself, he wouldn't be able to...

The image of Shoko lying there not moving an inch would haunt him...

In his head he was the person responsible for Shoko's condition, the only person who always thought that he was a hero.

Her hero was the one to hurt her...

The guilt in his mind was eating him up.

Someone who was the one to hurt couldn't be a hero.

The only thing he could be was a villain.

These thoughts would haunt him...

So much. So much it was unbearable.

But there was still something...That was keeping the light inside of him get through.

A hope...Maybe a fading hope...

He wanted to hug Shoko for one last time.

He wanted to pretend that he was alright for her smile that comforted him.

The warm smile filled with optimism, the smile of a child.

He wanted to see her smile for one last time.

For him, she was his salvation.

Nothing mattered more to him.

But he wondered if he'd be able to see her.

That after getting hurt by him, she would to smile for him or hug him with the same sympathy that he showed him.
