Gust of Wind

Chapter 2

When Gust woke up, there was a blinding light, he tried to shield his eyes but his hands were tied behind his back. In the distance he saw three figures in the darkness. Gust tried to ask who they were but what came out was more of a moan/groan sorta thing. One of the figures came closer and turned off the light that was pointed directly at his face, fortunately there was another light in the distance shining the rest of the room. Gust could now see the figures more clearly, one boy and two girls. "Who... Who are you?" Gust stammered. In return the boy nodded to the two girls and they nodded back. "I am Barri, and this is Thalia and Menja." Gust gave a small snicker and a smile, "Not only is that a name for a dwarf, but it also means clumsy!" Gust told Barri. However, Barri was actually very tall, and if Gust thought right, he was also the one who threw the spear. Fortunetly for Gust, nobody heard the rude comment. "Who are you?" Barri asked,
"I am Gust."
"Well Gust, welcome to our temporary home."

"Hey,"Gust yelled regaining most of his sences, "you're the girl from The Talbaek!"
"Yep! Menja replied, that's me. Fireball girl. I wasn't trying to do that, but sometimes it's hard to control my powers."
Then Thalia cut in, "King Bolverker doesn't take kindly to magic, he says that it is dangerous for everyone." The kids talked more and more for about thirty minuets, but then there was a creaking in the third room down the hall.

"Untie him, quickly!" Barri whispered. "They're here."
"Who's here?"Gust asked a little scared.
"They found us already?" Menja asked
"It's only been a few days! It usually takes longer than this!" Thalia replied
" Who's here!?" Gust said getting anxious.
"See that sword in the corner by that desk?" Barri asked. "Go grab it, hurry!" Gust ran and grabbed the sword. "Have you had any training with a sword Gust?" Thalia asked.
"A little" Gust replied.
"Well good, because the're here."
