Today was my date with Daire. And I couldn't be any happier with that.

But I was having a crisis with what to wear. And my dolls weren't being any help. Sometimes I wish that I had a mom or an older sister that can help me with stuff like these. Or maybe even a friend.

I walk to Levi's room across from mine and knock on his door. But unfortunately for me uncle Steph that's been staying with us since he was going through another divorce and didn't have anywhere else to go. Much to Levi's dismay uncle Steph has been staying in his room on the floor on a blowup mattress that didn't fit well in the room.

"Hi Willy," He said smiling showing his rotting teeth. I loved my uncle but sometimes he scared me with his harsh features. My dad who was 5 years older than Steph looks a decade younger than him.

"Hi uncle Steph," I smile at him. "Is Levi in his room?" I asked. He looks behind him and I can just tell he just woke up. He scratches his balding head. "Ah no sport, but he probably outside where he and Carter been working on that little old motorcycle." He said. I smile at him. "Thank you, Steph." He gives me a thumbs up.

I walk down the hall and to the kitchen where daddy stood there in deep conversation on the phone. He lifts his head when he hears me enter. "I'll call you back," He quickly said before hanging up. "Hey baby," He said.

I raise an eyebrow at his suspicious behavior but shrug it off. "Do you know where Levi is?" I asked.

He takes a red coffee mug and makes himself some coffee. "I do." He said. "Are you looking for him?" I nod my head. He nods and points to the back door. "Back there with Carter." He mumbles as he tries to turn the machine on. "Thank you," I said skipping off to where my brothers were.

"Levi I need to ask you a favor," I said to him as I walk to him. He, Carter, and Carter's best friend Landon were kicking the soccer ball around.

He looks up at me and nods his head. "Can you call Justina I need her help with something," I asked? I bite my lip as I wait for him to respond. He takes out his phone and types something in, he then places it on his ear. "Hey, babe, can you come over Willow needs a favor from you," He spoke into the phone "Uh huh-yeah okay. I know babe. Okay okay, chill." He walks to the far end of the backyard.

I stand there waiting for him to come back.

I look over at Landon. Landon had chocolate skin, curly black and dark brown eyes. He has tattoos all over and a nose piercing. I've known Landon since I was a little girl and I might have had a crush on him in my early teen years. But how can you not he was drop-dead gorgeous and he's a romantic that's why he's already married at his young age of 21 to his middle school sweetheart and they were already expecting their second child together.

"How is Jullie?" I asked Landon. He smiles showing his platinum teeth to me. "She's amazing and she's glowing," He said dreamy-like. I smile at his happiness. "Do you know the gender yet?" I asked. He shakes his head. "We want to wait until the birth, but we're hoping for a girl since we already have our boy." I nod my head. "My fingers are cross for your girl." "Thank you, Will."

I walk over to Betty that laid under to porch in the shade. She had her eyes slightly open. She barks lowly at me and slowly wags her tail. I pet her and kiss her on her head. Daddy said that any day now Betty could die and we would have to accept it. She was already old for her breed. Most Sheltie dogs live to 12 to 13 years and Betty was already 14. But to be honest I wasn't ready to lose the dog I had since I was 2 years old. She was a gift for my mother from daddy. And whenever I looked at Betty I thought of my mom. And Betty can bring a smile to anyone's face. And I wasn't ready to lose her.

"Justina said that she has practice later and wouldn't be able to help you. But she sends her deepest apologies." Levi said.

I frown but it quickly fades. "I understand she's a busy girl."
