WELCOME TO MY FACE CLAIM BOOK, MONOCHROME!

Here, you will find actors & actresses popular throughout the 1900s, from the long-ago 1910s to the more recent 1990s. I know there are many face claim books available but mine is different in that you will not find popular actresses like Sadie Sink or Malina Weismann, nor actors such as Timothée Chalamet or Lucas J. Zumann. While I respect and appreciate modern artists' work (and have used them/will use them myself), I find these and other such face claims far too overused and would like to see some rarer names such as Charlie Chaplin or Marilyn Monroe.

Sometimes, I find myself wishing for an artist of a bygone period and have used "golden-age Hollywood" names for my own casting (not all books containing these are published) and thought that others might want to be reminded of historic actors & actresses. Now, to be clear: these will not be actors & actresses playing period pieces with similar clothing styles & customs, but living in these eras with genuine time-appropriate appearances. Many of these gifs will be black & white (or in other words, Monochrome) until circa 1950.

So, as I said before, I do not wish to discredit or diminish the popularity, success & talent of modern-day actors & actresses; I would simply like to bring more variation to the casting stage. That being said, please enjoy this blast from the past!
