Felix comforts me as he silently cries while we all walk back to the prison camp.
"Baby it's ok, we may have lost him but I'm certain we'll see him again. You know, he believes in meeting again in your next life, just like you." He smiles. I wipe my tears as Jihoon waves to us with a smile, not knowing what happened.
"Hey guys, you're all back!" He smiles, dropping quickly as he noticed all the tears and red eyes. "What happened?"
"Hyunjin got infected, so he committed suicide before he could turn." Changbin whimpers. "We lost a member."
"Kim Jihoon!" I shout, pushing him up agaisnt a car and slapping his face. Tears pour out my eyes as blood rushes to my cheeks. Jihoon becomes stunned as his eyes begin to tear up. "I told them not to follow me to keep them safe, you heard me clearly when I first became a half-breed that I don't want them in danger. It's ok if they're close to the base, but not with me because I go far! We lost Hyunjin because of your incapability to understand what I was trying to say."
"I'm sorry, it wasn't my fault! I'm not the one in charge, it's the new chief." Jihoon shakes as he also points to my eye. "Also, your.. your eye is bleeding."
I sigh as I wipe my eye and look at my hand, the crimson liquid covering it. I forcefully take my eyepatch out of my backpocket and wear it.
"Who's the new choef and why wasn't I informed about them?" I say with monotone, taking a gun out from behind my pocket.
"Izzy! No!" Chris says as he grabs the fun out of my hands. "No weapons. We can go talk to the chief about the situation and what you want. The boys can stay back but I'm staying with you."
"Take us to the chief."
