AJ locked Kaitlyn into the black widow. She immediately tapped out, much to the dismay of the audience.
"That's it, AJ has beaten Kaitlyn once again," Michael Cole uttered with disappointment.
"It was a hell of a match," Corey Graves replied with a smile.
AJ's music blared loudly throughout the arena. She smiled wickedly at Kaitlyn before slowly skipping around her in a circle, in the middle of the ring.
"What is AJ doing?" Michael Cole asked in confusion.
"I have no idea," Corey replied.
AJ stopped skipping before she jumped up and wrapped her legs around Kaitlyn's waist.
"What the hell?" Michael Cole asked.
AJ stared into Kaitlyn's eyes before she quickly wrapped her arms tightly around Kaitlyn's neck.
Kaitlyn embraced the smaller girl tightly.
"Their hugging?" Michael Cole asked, in shock.
"Leave them be, they're best friends after all," Corey replied.
"I love you, thanks for being here," AJ said, into Kaitlyn's ear.
"I love you too," Kaitlyn replied, with tears in her eyes.
AJ kissed Kaitlyn on the cheek before hopping off of her.
The crowd cheered loudly as both girls stood hand in hand in the middle of the ring.
Both girls cried as they walked to the backstage area.
"Good job out there, we're going to miss you, Kaitlyn," Vince Mcmahon said.
"It was an honor, I'm going to miss this place," Kaitlyn replied.
Kaitlyn shook Vince's hand one last time before walking off to her locker room.
AJ followed Kaitlyn back to her locker room, she was especially emotional, they did everything together and now, April would have to do it without her best friend by her side.
"I wanted my last match to be with you," Kaitlyn said.
"I'm going to miss you," AJ replied.
"We'll still see each other," Kaitlyn said.
"I know, but, what about here?" AJ asked, in fear.
Kaitlyn grabbed AJ's hands and stared straight into her eyes.
"Nothing can separate us, we'll always be together, no matter what," Kaitlyn uttered.
AJ looked away, as fresh tears fell from her cheeks.
Kaitlyn wrapped AJ up into her arms as she cried, it was a very hard thing to have to deal with, no longer having your best friend wrestling with you.
"I love you, so much," AJ said, as she pulled away from the hug.
"Me too," Kaitlyn replied, kissing AJ on the cheek.
AJ wiped the remaining tears from her eyes with a laugh.
"I could use a shower," AJ said, in a playful tone.
"Let's go to my hotel room, we can shower there," Kaitlyn replied.
Both girls grabbed their luggage before taking off to the arena parking lot.
They found the car within minutes. Kaitlyn put it in gear before driving off to the hotel down the street.
Once they arrived, both girls found Kaitlyn's room number. They walked into the room and immediately went over to the video game console that was set up.
"Take a shower, I'll be here when you get out," Kaitlyn said.
"Alright," AJ replied.
AJ went into the bathroom and stripped down before getting into the shower.
After a quick shower, AJ walked out of the bathroom.
"Damn, you look hot," Kaitlyn said, in a playful tone.
She was admiring April's naked body.
"Yeah, sure," AJ replied, as she grabbed her clothes.
She settled on pajama pants, and her love bites t-shirt.
"I'm serious," Kaitlyn said.
AJ blushed as she stared at her friend.
"Thanks," AJ replied, with a toothy grin.
AJ sat next to Kaitlyn, both girls stayed very close to one another.
"You better rule that divas division with an iron fist," Kaitlyn said, as she held AJ close to her body.
"I don't know..." AJ uttered.
She pulled away from Kaitlyn as the memories of the two of them came flooding back.
"I don't know if I can do this without you," AJ replied, new tears threatening to fall.
Kaitlyn wiped the tears out of AJ's eyes with her thumb.
"April, you took control of the division way before I was a regular opponent of yours," Kaitlyn said.
"You were by my side the whole time, you're going away now," AJ replied, a little shaken up.
"I'm not wrestling anymore, that doesn't mean I won't be there to witness your matches," Kaitlyn said.
"You promise?" AJ asked while cuddling closer to Kaitlyn's body.
"I promise," Kaitlyn replied.
"Okay..." AJ uttered, suddenly feeling a lot better.
"Now, let's get happy," Kaitlyn replied.
She picked up the game controllers with a big smile.
"Time to get your butt kicked!" Kaitlyn exclaimed.
"You wish, move over!" AJ said, in a playful tone.
She grabbed her controller and sat close to Kaitlyn as they began playing the video game.
They spent the next few hours just playing Mortal Kombat.
It was dark by the time they finished; AJ was extremely tired.
"Come on, let's get to bed," Kaitlyn replied.
She picked AJ up bridal style before taking her to the room.
Kaitlyn laid down next to AJ.
"I love you," April said.
AJ planted a small kiss on Kaitlyn's temple.
"I love you too, my little nerd," Kaitlyn replied.
She spooned with AJ as both girls fell into a deep sleep.
