Apology

Alone for two weeks, coming up three, Bruce had missed waking up next to his boyfriend.

Thor's been off in some intense battle in a realm and had something else important going on in Asgard with his father.

Meanwhile Bruce has been at home. Going to the lab to keep him occupied. It had started to become normal for him to be alone.

As he woke up one morning, Bruce reached out for his glasses. Glancing next to him to see nothing but an open space in bed.

Kicking off the covers and swinging is legs over the edge, he saw a sticky note taped on the lamp.

Good morning! Sorry I wasn't here.

Bruce didn't think anything of it. He knew Thor's not as neat handwriting.

Contuining his morning, he stumbled into the bathroom. Surprised to see the mirror taped up with another sticky note.

You look very beautiful, my dear

Bruce appreciated the 'you need no mirrior because you look great' note from Thor.

After doing his restroom business, he walked over to the open space of the kitchen and dining room.

He can already see another note taped to the fridge. Bruce grabbed it and smiled after reading the note.

I tried making your favorite breakfast... I burnt it :(

He opened the fridge and find a burnt plate of toast, bacon, and mini panckes. Bruce instead grabbed the milk.

Took a few steps and grabbed a cereal box and placed them on the counter. Turned to get a bowl and spoon.

Once he turned back to the counter, he froze as he saw a vase with flowers that apparently magically appeared.

Bruce walked around the other side of the counter with the cereal items and saw another note that was two words.

Picking up the note, he muttered the words under his breath: turn around

Although it was all the signs of Thor, Bruce couldn't take the chance. Tensed while trying to keep calm, he turned around.

There he was. Thor stood there with a welcoming smile, hammer in hand.

Bruce thought of nothing in the moment as he hugged him tightly. Thor kissed the top of his head and rubbed his back.

"Don't worry, I'm not leaving anytime soon."

"Please don't.." Bruce glanced up to him.

"I promise." Thor said softly.
