"Most things in life come out as a surprise and yet They are right there in front us "

Rodney dropped me off at mickeys pizzeria but not before gazing around trying to spot Mr hot shot, and when he did spot Konstatine he went on and on about how gorgeous he was and I eventually had to chase him away when an old lady came passing by and gave him a  disapproving look.

Rodney did tend to speak his thoughts out loud.

Konstatine did look a bit familiar though now that id let what he'd said earlier sink in.

there was this nerdy kid in my old high school named Stine, I remember people called him that because he was the smartest kid in school and teachers used to joke and call him 'Einstein', he was a total social outcast and he and I where partners up for a class integrated year project in Biology where they one class did theory and the other class did practicals and the teachers paired students from both classes together-he wasn't at all that bad,I suppose people where just intimidated by his intelligence, I even considered him a friend at least in the slightest as he liked to keep to himself.

I made my way to the Booth he was sitting in and noticed he was sporting a rather fancy suit way to expensive for a place like mickeys, but he wore it well.

After I was done checking him out as soon as I reached the table I  huffed as I sat down."Can I have my phone back?"I asked immediately while staring him down blankly.

"What, no hello?" he smirked, and I rolled my eyes, "You ma'am are lacking in the manners department, " he said leaning back in his the seat.

"And you sir are lacking in the co-operative department" I scoffed.

"Now, can I have my phone back?" I repeated myself.

"No", he smirked and I glared at him

"And why not, I showed up didn't I?"I looked at him baffled and he retorted in smiling back.

"I do remember clearly stating that you had to go on a date with me and this date hasn't even started "He smirked proudly, and I leaned back in my seat and sighed.

He was very hot, yes, but he was also very hot on my nerves, and it didn't help that his gazes made me feel some type of way.

"You are annoying you know that right?" Slumping my shoulders I picked up the menu.

He held his smirk and replied "that I do pumpkin"

"Pumpkin?"I raised an eyebrow.

Coincidence.

Stine used to call me pumpkin all the time but this couldn't be the same guy, high school Stine was a lot less sexy than the hot idiot who was sitting in front of me and the names where different.

"Yeah, thought I'd give you a Nickname," he said shrugging, but the look he gave me held something I couldn't figure out.

The waiter came by shortly after and placed two pizzas in front of us before leaving asking if we needed anything else to which we both declined.

Guess he'd already ordered.

We dug into our pizzas and it was uncomfortably quiet, neither of us bothered to speak as we finished up.

"Well, I must say that was one of the most awkward meals I've ever had " he awkwardly chuckled placing his napkin on the table.

"Took the words right out my mouth" I replied taking a sip of my iron brew.

"But I'm at least happy," he said, causing me to furrow my brows.

"Why?"

"Well back in high school, I wouldn't have had the guts to blackmail you to go on a date with me," he said staring me right in the eyes as if waiting for me to realise something, and after a while of looking at his face all the pieces seemed to fall in place.

She doesn't remember me

Pumpkin

Back in highschool

My eyes widened in surprise and I nearly spit out my cool drink.

"Stine?"
