Mallika: thank you for protecting me from that beast.

Sumedh: who is he??

Mallika: my mom's friend's son

Sumedh: why is he doing all this to you??

He asked with a questioning look.

Mallika: he was a jerk from the day i met him a year back mom's childhood friend returned from Sydney and he was her son and the day I saw him first i could notice his dirty lustful eyes on me and things worsened when the friend of my mom decided to stay at our house till she will not return back and due to this that jerk always tried to come close to me or touch me with his dirty hands and one night when my and his mom were out for my dad's buisness event he revealed his devil side to me. He surely was a devil. He...h..e....fo..r...ce....d...m..e

Her breath was getting hitched remembering that night and soon she fainted on sumedh's shoulders.

Sumedh: mallikaa!!

He patted her cheeks
Then he picked her in his arms and laid her on the bed and called her sister cause she was a doctor. And he thought it wouldn't be wise to take her to hospital at this hour of night.
On call

Sumedh: hii siya.

Siya: hello bro what's up!! And what happened called me at this hour??

Sumedh: umm.. actually a friend of mine fainted.

Siya: and why? I mean has he eaten something wierd or smelled something allergic??

(Note: siya has used he because she thought that sumedh is talking about his male friend.)

Sumedh: no it's nothing like that my friend was depressed about some personal affairs and while discussing them he became uncomfortable and thus fainted.

Siya: oohh!!! Okay do one thing let him take rest and if he doesn't gets back consciousness even after 1 hour then take him to the local doctor.

Sumedh: okay thanks siso take care.

Siya: hmm!! You as well bye

Then they declined the call and sumedh went near mallika who was still lying lifelessly on the bed.
He was tensed and more then that unhappy that how can someone be that cruel to a sweet girl his eyes went on her lips which were bleeding from side due to the torcher of that devil. Her face had marks which she had been hiding through makeup. He gently caressed her hairs suddenly he saw her eyes blinking and after few minutes she opened her eyes.

Mallika's POV
I was telling sumedh sir about that devil suddenly everything blacked out and after I guess 1 hour i felt some movement on my hairs i felt some comfortable and gentle hands on my head i slowly opened my eyes to see sumedh sir caressing my hairs he was looking tired ofcourse he had done 3 meetings today and i was not even there to help him through his files.

Her POV ended when she realised she was staring sumedh from around 5 minutes.
She quickly got up and said

Mallika: i..am.i am sorry i must return back to my flat.

Sumedh: well i think you must not go today as maybe Rohan will be their looking for you. You may better stay here and i will go to my home.

Mallika got confused after listening "my home" of course he was a boss of a very big company then why is he staying here in this "not so big cottage" she was in her thoughts suddenly sumedh said.

Sumedh: i stay here because I want to experience simple life.

Her eyes widened he wanted to experience simple life! But why?

Sumedh: i know what you are thinking i want to experience simple life cause when i was born i only had my mom who was a widow my dad died when she was 6 months pregnant. She used to work in many houses to collect money to give me a better life she did everything she could to give me all i need. She wanted to see me her son reaching big success and for that she did all she could wake up whole nights when i was studying she never fulfilled her needs and when i was getting the fruit of my deeds she died she didn't saw her son reaching success and because of that i don't want to live in riches cause i wanted to give a luxurious life to my mom but fate wasn't with me.

His eyes were teary remembering all the incidents and even mallika who was lost listening about his mom was in teary state.
Why God always snatches their loved ones??
Sumedh soon felt an warm embrace around him.
He saw mallika had hugged him to comfort him and this was the most comfortable hug he had after his mom left him he hugged her back.

The hug was long cause both shared their problems with someone they felt they trusted and this night made their relationship stronger now they weren't just boss and employ or co-workers they were in a precious bond

"Friendship"

The purest bond in this world.
The bond which keeps people close to heart.
The bond which keeps us feel safe.
The bond without lust or fake trust.
The bond without money.
The bond of heart.
The bond without misunderstanding.
The bond of love of hearts not mind.
The bond in which mental state of people worths more then physical situation.
The bond in which you don't have to be related physically but mentally.
And the bond that never breaks
