"Let go. Why do you cling to pain? There is nothing you can do about the wrongs of yesterday. It is not yours to judge. Why hold on to the very thing which keeps you from hope and love?"

-Leo Buscaglia

A line creased between his eyebrows as he stared down at the small figure in front of him. For a moment he felt like shoving her away with his pinky finger.

She is just too short.

"You heard me."Mehreen snapped, tilting her head away from his face. She can't help but feel scared of how he was staring at her. It was terrifying!

"There is nothing I hate more than wasting my time, especially on short girls like you. You don't deserve an explanation from me and you ain't worthy of my time, know your limits young lady."

She pursed her lips. Did he?

Oh my gawddddd!!!

Did he just call me young lady??

"Excuse me? Young lady?"She was now facing him, the longer she looked at him, the deeper her frown got. She snorted shaking her head. "Dude you must be mistaken...I never knew a gentleman like you can be so disrespectful. Other than roaming around with flashy cars and expensive clothing what else do you do for a living? If you are free to care to take lessons on human interaction you need it, guy."

Oh, she got him good.

Hammad exhaled loudly, his lip curling up in what looked like pre-sprung anger. He gripped his hand tightly not wanting things to get messy and hit his lower lip.

"You have no idea who you are speaking to right?"He questioned through gritted teeth, trying his best to control his anger.

"Hello..."mehreen waved her tiny wrist over his face making him more annoyed. "Of course, I know who I'm talking to a man who is full of himself and lack respect for women. You have no idea who you are speaking to." she mimicked with an eye roll.

"You'll regret this."He snapped, his cheeks burning with rage. With that, he swiftly wore back his shades and turned to leave when she spoke.

"Mo wala nana hala. Stubborn brat."She blurts in Fulfulde, and hissed before turning on her heels but stopped in her tracks when she heard his voice.

"Dammudo mo state. Shameless short woman."He replied leaving her jaw dropped. She quickly turned only to see the car zooming off.

Did he-

Hammad entered his car and heaved a long exasperated sigh. He had a very bad morning and this little girl ruined it more for him now he is going to meet his so-called uncle. *rolls his eyes*

Come to think of it the girl has guts, and the audacity to even walk up to someone and say those things is very surprising, she didn't even think of what the outcome might be, she went on blabbering without a filter.

Filterless spoilt brat.

He was so lost in thought that he didn't even notice Fahad staring at him with a goofy and teasing smile.
