Y/N POV:
There was this rumor going around that creepy things have been going on inside the Playtime Factory. It was a place I used to work at. I still remember everything vividly before I quit because of the strange things going on with the experiments they did on the adorable blue statue. I couldn't handle the fact they were trying to make it 'alive'. It was honestly ridiculous. Despite that, before leaving I had to give it a big hug even if it wasn't alive, I know that's what it was meant for. In fact, I still have a plush of the statue, it's just so iconic not to take with me. Sometimes I wonder what the factory is even like anymore, though. I wonder if there are people still trapped there.
**FLASHBACK!**
Scientist POV:
It's been months upon months of training the statue to act like a human and smile. None of the workers know. Nobody does. Only me and my scientist friends. We've been working to make him more... Friendly, I suppose. Everyday he sits in a corner and cries until we come back in, he seems scared. He seems... Not happy. We fixed it quite easily, though, shock collars fix EVERYTHING.
Well.. That was until one day... Most of the workers had quit their jobs, only one remained, her name was I think... y/n? But.. as the statue stood there in front of her, she hugged its leg and just quit... Right there. Its almost like she actually had feelings for the thing. Like she cared for it. That's beside the point. One day, things got a bit out of hand. The statue was now a blood thirsty monster wanting nothing but revenge. It escaped one day, and ripped the other scientists heads off... I ran out of there as fast as I could. I never returned to the factory since that day. Nobody ever has. Lots of people died I'm guessing as the factory was still open... Usually we'd put up a sign saying the "statue" was getting polished, and well, we did. But that sign is gone now for there is no use for it.
**BACK TO PRESENT!*
Y/N POV:
It was getting late, I was honestly exhausted. I decided to crash at F/N (Friend name) house for the night since I was already there. ((Btw your friend can be any gender you'd like. I'll refer to them as they/them for now because I want you to choose their gender lol-)) We wished each other a goodnight and I passed out on the couch. I had some strange dreams... Most of them about the factory, it was like a sign for me to go and explore... As much as I wanted to, I was scared. What if the rumors were true? What if all those creepy things about the toys actually being alive were true..? I was honestly terrified of it all.
I woke up at around 6:30 AM. I checked my phone, and left F/N house silently. I had to make sure I brought my portable charger because I was going to that factory. Those dreams were too vivid... I had to see if it was all real. I pulled up to the factory, it was empty, too silent. It was all true, it was abandoned, no signs of life besides a few birds flying past. "This is it." I said quietly. I'm probably going to die here. I brought my stuff with me and stuffed it in my pocket, and used the old key I had to get inside the factory.
There was dust everywhere. Quiet thumps were heard all around me. It was annoying... And terrifying. I thought of turning back but that would make me a chicken.
I walked into the grab pack room, it was just as it was years ago... Was this place shut down for that long..? I tried breaking the glass, no luck. I tried pulling on it, no luck. So I sat through the annoying and painful video instead. As soon as that was over I quickly grabbed the blue hand and ran to where the entrance was to get to the statue, for some reason I was excited to see it! I wanted to give it a big hug like I did last time. I walked inside and saw it was still there. I was happy! I knew the stupid scientists didn't do anything to the statue. What a fool I was for believing that rumor. Anyway, if this statue isn't alive, that probably means none of the rumors are real, so I could probably just leave now if I wanted, but something was holding me back... My adventurous part of me wanted to explore. How could I not, this place is all dusty and just so interesting now! Before it was all bright, colorful, and happy! Now it's dull, colorless and gloomy. It was so dark, I had to turn the power on somehow, I looked up at the statue and gave it a big hug on the leg, and noticed a key it was holding. "That's... Weird..." I whispered to myself. I used my grab pack hand to grab the key from the statue. It had the label 'Power' on it. What a coincidence. I used it to open the power room door, and just pressed a button. As I pressed the button the statue disappeared. My eyes widened as I turned towards the statue. Was I... Scared? No. I... What the hell?
