~Five Years Later~
Misty's POV."May, Leaf, Dawn, Breakfast is here!" I called out to my best friends.
I walked inside our huge penthouse with a box of donuts I had picked up right across the street. Super convenient for days like today, when some of us didn't have time to make breakfast before heading out for the day.
Setting the box of donuts down on the island that sits right in the middle of the kitchen, I watched the girls stroll in one by one.
"Woah, slow down May." I sweat drop as I watched her eagerly grab three donuts from the box and start shoving them in her mouth.
"Hmmph."
"Chew, Swallow, then speak." Dawn scolded, plopping down on the chair next to mine.
"Sorry! I need to hurry up if I'm going to make it on time." May said, after swallowing her third donut.
Even after living together for a little over five years, she never cease to amaze me on how quickly she can eat.
"Oh yeah, today is your first day as a contest judge. Way to go Princess of Sinnoh." Leaf pipped up, grinning at the brunette.
I looked over at May, seeing her blush, I smirked.
"Speaking of which, I've been hearing gossip about another Top Coordinator, someone they're calling,'The Prince' of Sinnoh." I remarked, wiggling my eyebrows at May.
She rolled her eyes at me,"He's just another coordinator they asked to be a judge. I don't even know who he is and FYI Leaf, today is not my first day judging. The contest isn't till the end of the week. I'm just getting my contract from Mr. Contesta and—"
"Meeting your Prince." Dawn interjected, wiggling her eyebrows suggestively. I giggled.
"Okay, that's enough. I do not have time for this." May groaned, rushing out of the kitchen.
"Good luck, May." I shouted.
"Don't do anything we wouldn't do!" Leaf added teasingly.
"SHUT UP!"
We all laughed and fell into a comfortable silence.
Being as close as we are, sometimes we get carried away with our teasing, but I think it shows just how far we've grown to love each other. Even when we can't stand one another.Five years ago, we had our hearts broken. And on a whim, we decided to travel around Sinnoh. It was the best and worst time of my life and speaking for my best friends, I know they feel exactly the same.
The best part, traveling around Sinnoh made us all realize, we never wanted to leave. We settled down in Virdian City, which was surprisingly, a unimious decision. The worst part? Coming to the realization our once happy lives and the boys we thought loved us, were gone. We stayed in a one bedroom apartment at first, since neither one of us wanted to sleep alone. The girls and I figured since none of us wanted to sleep alone, we would all share a king size bed and get the smallest apartment so we could save money.
Now years later, we've been able to upgrade to a huge penthouse and sleep peacefully in our own beds. All of our careers skyrocketed as well.
May, winning Sinnoh's grand festival has earned her title as "Sinnoh's Princess." Dawn, a very successful Poke Stylist, opened her own studio right in the middle of Virdian City. Leaf, now a top model in Sinnoh and one of Professor Rowan's research assistants. And me? I never thought my dream of being a Water Pokemon Master would become a reality, but it did. Having studied under one of the prestigious elite four, Lorelei, she is finally retiring and giving me her title as a elite four member.
