5- His Feelings

Ayla scoffs and smiles at Bryan, "It's been so long since I met you!" She smiled and said. Harvey looked at Ayla with a slightly annoyed look. She turns to Harvey. "You have no say in who I touch or dont" she said as she put her hand around Bryan and stood beside him.

Harvey takes two step towards grabbing her forearm and pulling her to him. "We are exclusive babygirl" he said and she lets out a mock laugh.

"In your dreams lover boy" she said and rolls her eyes at him. He grabs her hair and tugs her head backwards and she glares at him. "What!" She asked as he held her there.

"A few minutes back you weren't complaining." He whispered into her ear and her glare changes to embarrassment as her face turns red.

Ayla looks at Harvey in surprise and shock, "wh-what" she stutters for the first time in her life. She wasn't used to being flustered.

"Stay away from her if you know what's good for you" Harvey said and her eyes widen. She had always intimidated men or avoided them because she found them immature and just didn't like anyone. Period.

But now she was being claimed by a man who intimidated her, made her feel waves of emotions she didn't think she was capable of feeling.

Harvey glared at Bryan.

"She is my niece" Bryan said with an amused look. He looked at Ayla who was still staring at Harvey with wide eyes.

Harvey frowns and then loosens up, "Alright" he said as he shakes Bryans hands and all the while he still didn't let go of her hand.

Ayla notices and pulls away, she stands behind Bryan and glares at Harvey who just smiles. His smile made her feel butterflies in her stomach. How can a man be so good looking and perfect that-

Ayla snaps her head away, she cursed at herself for letting him get under her skin in a way that she had never let anyone before. She had only ever let Bella see her completely bare with her emotions and she lost her.

This feeling she was having for Harvey scared her. She was scared of getting close to him only to lose him in some way too. Maybe it's just better to keep her distance for a while.

Harvey calmly walked to her and kissed her on the lips and walked back into the room as if nothing happened. Ayla turns and walks out.

She looked at the time, it was 6 in the morning already. No wonder they allowed them to roam around the property.

"So kiddo how have you been? I didn't think that you would ended up here." He said and she sticks her tongue out. "Are you really that surprised" she asked as they walked around the perimeter of the field.

He laughs out, "not with a temper like yours, just wondering why?" He said and looked at Ayla.

Ayla looked upon her uncle when it came to how he dealt with the situations. He was one of her favourite people even though he has an addiction to drugs.

"So candy?" Ayla asked as she looked at him. Candy is a code for drugs that she started because of her uncle.

Flashback

"Uncle what is that?" 10 year old Ayla asked her uncle who was 22 back then.

Her uncle patted her head after snorting a line. "Just for adults" he said to Ayla who looked curiously at the lines made of drugs.

"Does it taste good?" She asked and he chuckles, "like a candy" he said and Ayla's eyes sparkle, "candy? I love candy" she said and he laughs.

Flashback over

"Yeah I still love it" he grinned and Ayla shook her head in mock disappointment.
