Babysitting Colby Brock

Chapter 7

Alexis POV
I just get home from hanging out with kat,devyn and teaira when I got a notification from instagram!! I then click on the notification and I saw that colby had texted me!! "omg how did he find my instagram," I said out loud freaking out as I click on his message to see what he said.
Colby:hey ;)
as I read what he as sent I started to get mad, why did he send me a smirk emoji? as I text back I say,
Alexis: um how did you find my Instagram
he didn't respond for 3 and half hours. I sat in my room so mad he had the nerve to text me first and not respond again.
As hours went on my mom yells for me to come downstairs for dinner.I ran downstairs to eat dinner as my phone went off! I sat there feeling so anxious to see who texted me when out of no where my sister teaira picks up my phone and says, "who keeps texting you?" "um colby" I say. she then proceeds to read all of his text messages.
Colby: oh my best friend sam gave it to me
Colby: and I forgot to mention he's your best friends boyfriend
Alexis: kat or devyn?
Colby: kat
I hit him with a thumbs up emoji and start to go about the rest of my day. I'm tired of thinking about colby.

As I'm laying in my bed trying to go to sleep I get a notification on my phone. I sigh knowing exactly who the notification is from. I clicked on the notification opening up our messages. As I open up his message i see,
Colby: hey are you up?
As I try to comprehend on why he just texted me this late, I text him back.
Alexis: i was about to fall asleep until you texted
I was started to get angry on why he just text me out of nowhere this late at night knowing we have school in the morning!!
Colby: aw did I stop you from getting your Beauty sleep;)
When I read his message I was so furious, I didn't even text him back . I put my phone on the nightstand and went straight to sleep with an anxious feeling that something bad might happen soon.
