ℋero's pov
I know that a little massage or just having a hand on your lower belly, it really helps when you're having deep period cramps, since I've been through a lot of them with my sister.
Josephine's head is resting on my chest and by the heavy breathes that she's taking I know she fell asleep.
I guess the pain killers helped to put her asleep and I'm happy about that.So here I am with the girl that made me such a simp, with my hand on her belly, watching The Bachelor.
I stare at her looking straight and taking advantage of the mirrors applied on the wardrobe panels. Her leg is wrapped around mine, her cheek glued to my chest, her eyes fully closed as her mouth.
I take some courage and I start softly brushing her hair and it doesn't her wake up, sign that she really in a deep sleep.
I let my fingers run through her golden hair while her warmth and her perfume makes me company. She still has to give me an answer but I'm chilling about that because: one, I'm getting to spend time with her so I can't complain and two, if was a drastic no she wouldn't be sleeping in my arms right now.
I decide to stop staring at her like a creep and concentrate on the reality show.
It reminds me a bit of Love Island. My sister was so addicted to that reality show and still is.I would never understand how fist of all how these model looking creatures can be possibly single and how they really have this desire to go there, expose themselves to half world and get played. They are just searching for clout not for love, that's for sure.
I feel Josephine moving next to me and when I look down, I see Jo streching her arms.
She looks around like she's lost and I hate that feeling, that's why I take naps just if it's really necessary. She looks up at me titling her and damn, her sleepy eyes looks even better.
"Hey." I say softening my voice trying tohidz a smile from her.
"Hey, how much did I slept?" she asks me with the most cute sleepy voice I've ever heard.
I pick up, my phone that is placed on my stomach, tap the screen with my thumb.
"It's five and fifty-seven so like two hours." I calculate.
Her eyes go wide at the word two hours.
"Sorry, my the worst at keeping you company." she say furrowing her lips while her eyes are holding mine.
I smile noticing her arm tightening her grip around my body.
"You are not the worst. You really needed that nap."I tell her and she stands up sitting on the mattress and recollecting every piece of hair in a messy knot on top of her head.
"Yeah I feel a lot better. She says taking the little blanket that I put on us while she was already asleep.
"I need to go to the bathroom." she says and I nod showing her a smile. While she disappears in the bathroom I stand up too, turning off the tv and going close to the glass wall and seeing the traffic running really slowly cause of the snow kept falling this morning.
"I was thinking..." Jo says behind my back almost making me having a hero attack.
"Yes?" I ask looking over my shoulder.
"Do you want to go out for a little sightseeing ?" she asks and I see a lot of hope and excitement in he eyes that looks more awaken now.
I look at her fresh face and I realise that she asking me out."Yeah, of course, but are you sure?" I ask thinking about her pain.
"Yeah and walking, actually helps..." she explains to me and I remember even my sister that through those days of the month she kept going to the gym telling me how physical activity helps the flow.
"Alright then let's get ready." I tell her and her eyes lightens up.ℐosephine's pov
Should I go slow with him? Yes.
But I can't be cold in front of the much effort he is putting on to show me that he is ready to be in my life and let me into his.
