I'm in Hate With You

Part 5

They both realized that it was Dr. Todd.

-'Where the fuck is she?'

-'I don't know. I don't even know how that paralysed stupid hit on my head.'

Dr. Todd's voice raised a bit,

-'You freaking told me nothing happen to my Diana, what did you do to her?'

-'FUCK. I didn't do anything. They eloped.'

Now Dr. Todd sounds worried,

-'No, No, No, Where are you my love? I wanted to keep you safe and look what this bastard do to you.'

Diana and Neil gazed each other.

The man replied,

-'I told you I didn't do anything.'

Neil thought of a genius plan. He started a recorder, but they heard a sound, became cautious.

The man concerned,

-'What's that? What was that sound?'

Diana and Neil's eyes got bigger cause they were afraid they might get caught. Suddenly a mouse ran away and they sighed.

The man laughed,

-'Just a filthy rat.'

-'You put my Diana to danger and now you're laughing?

-'So what if I do? I can kill you within a second.'

-'But that wasn't a deal.'

-'Huh? deal? what fucking deal are you talking about? that one? which me made that you'll expose Richard to me and I'll hand you Diana? No, not that easy, kiddo. All I wanted was to make Richard suffer and I'll do that now. Let her elope. She won't go far away. I'll surely find her.'

Sounds of steps were heard. Dr. Todd shouted, 

-'You don't have to lay your dirty hand on her. I'll find her.'

He left too. But still they were silent just to make sure no one's here. 

Neil was searching for something desperately. Diana asked,

-'What are you looking for?' 

-'I kept a phone there. It should be here.'

Diana walked up to him and tried to stop, 

-'Hey, hey stop. Let me do that. You can't do too much hard work. Please.'

After a minute she found a little button phone and handed it to him. He called his father first. He didn't receive the call. 

-'Maybe he was busy.' 

-'Hm, let me call Mr. Louis.'

-'That policeman? Is he good enough to trust?'

-'I know him for years. He's also your father's part time bodyguard.'

10 DAYS AFTER THE INCIDENT

Morning

Neil just woke up and found Diana nowhere. He rubbed his eyes and called her. No response. He walked up to Diana's picture and stared at it,

-'I miss you. Please come back.'

Someone knocked the door and he asked, 

-'Who is it?' 

-'House keeping.'

-'Wait what? Am I in a freaking hotel?'

He gazed around,

-'No, I'm just in my room.'

He walked with a crutch to open the door. A beautiful heat warming face popped up before him and said,

-'Is there anything I can help you with, Sir?'

-'Yes, love me.'

-'I already do. Now, will you let me in? the breakfast will be cold.'

-'Umm, the pancake was just wow. I didn't know that this daddy's little princess knew cooking.'

The smile disappeared from Diana's face.

-'Oh, um. Sorry. I didn't mean to hurt you.' 

-'Its okay, it wasn't your fault.'

-'Do you still hate me for that I didn't save him?' 

Diana went back to past, deeply thinking about that day.

Diana was worrying about her father,

-'Neil, I think we should go there. My parents are in danger.'

-'Wait until the police arrive.' 

-'I can't. Please. Or i'll die out of anxiety.'

Neil couldn't be so hard on her, at least not now. Its normal to worry about parents.

By the time they went down, the police already arrived. Diana saw that the man came with 3 cars full of bad men. So the police had to bring more men in order to control them. 

Diana was searching for her father desperately until she saw her father in his room all soaked with blood. Her mother was beside him crying and when she saw her she ran and hugged Diana.

-'Dad? No!! what did they do to you?'

Diana took his head on her lap and crying,

-'Dad!'

Mr. Richard smiled and said,

-'Hey sweetheart, I'm okay. Just broken. Look I can talk.'

Diana's still crying like a baby. 

IN HOSPITAL

Diana's father was in a coma. Her mother called her and gave a notebook to her.

-'What is it, Mom?'

-'Your father wrote this for you. Read it.'

She opened the book,

"OH MY DEAR BABY, I'M SORRY FOR EVERY TROUBLE YOU'VE BEEN THROUGH. NOW, YOU HAVE TO KNOW THE TRUTH. BEFORE YOUR BIRTH, I WAS ENGAGED WITH THE MAFIA. IN MY AREA, I WAS THE MOST POWERFUL ONE. BUT I NEVER DID ANY CRIME THAT WAS AGAINST THE COUNTRY. I WAS ALWAYS ON THIS CITY'S SIDE. ONE DAY I GOT TO KNOW ABOUT ANOTHER MAN WHO WAS INVOLVED IN CRIMES WITH HIS TWIN BROTHER. HE STOLE AND TOOK SO MANY ILLEGAL ACTIONS. I CHASED THEM AND KILLED HIS TWIN BUT HE ESCAPED FROM ME. AND KILLING HIS BROTHER WAS THE MAIN REASON HE WANTS REVENGE. THE TIME HE ESCAPED, LEFT A NOTE WITH HIS BLOOD ON THE WALL,

'I will come back and haunt your most weakest side.'

AND MAYBE SOMEHOW HE COLLECTED EACH AND EVERY INFORMATION ABOUT ME. BY THAT TIME, HE ALREADY KNEW THAT YOU WERE MY MOST VALUABLE TREAUSRE. THE ACCIDENT YOU MET THAT DAY, WAS OF COURSE ONE OF HIS MEN. 

DIANA, YOU MUST BE MAD AT ME KNOWING THAT I WAS A BAD GUY. AFTER YOU WERE BORN WHEN I FIRST SAW YOUR FACE I SAID, I'D LEAVE EVERYTHING FOR SUCH A BEAUTIFUL AND HEAVENLY GIFT LIKE YOU. I STOPPED ENGAGING WITH OTHER GANGS, I LOCKED UP ALL THE WEAPONS I HAD, I TOOK CARE OF YOU AND YOUR MOTHER JUST LIKE A SIMPLE FATHER. I'M OLD AND MAYBE I GOT A FEW DAYS TO LIVE. I DON'T WANT TO KEEP YOU IN THE DARKNESS SO I LET YOU KNOW IT THROUGH MY WRITING. I DON'T HAVE THE GUTS TO TELL YOU DIRECTLY AS I WAS AFRAID YOU'D BE MAD AT ME. I HOPE YOU CAN FORGIVE ME.'
