Disappointment and suspicion.

The next day, when Parker has woken up.
He woke up happy, he wasn't scared. He was happy, and comfortable.

He was really happy with the thought of actually being able to help Ramiro back to his usual life style.
But he has only been there for one night, he can't guarantee that hes right by his very first gut; He reassured himself with a frown plastered on his face.

Parker stretched his arms whilst getting out of bed, he was hoping that Florence had made breakfast or something.
But his victims/patients never really made food, they never seemed to care about him at all.

But Parker had his hopes up this time, this household seemed more 'healthy' than others.
So hopefully she did make food.

Parker stepped out of his room after he had changed clothes; When he stepped out he put his right arm over to his back and crossed his fingers in hopes to not get starved AGAIN.

But he quickly sighed deeply to himself when he saw the kitchen empty and completely un-touched.
A few seconds later, he realized that she might've left food for him in the dining room.
He inhaled sharply by his thought and walked through halls of the house.

When he arrived at the door, he twisted the door knob, like every other person would do.
He stepped in and his eyes lit up in hope, he shouldn't have.

"Ughh.."

He groaned and thought of scolding himself, but realized that it would be a waste of time.

[TIME SKIP]

Its been hours, nothing has happened. He wanted to go home, he figured that it would be a waste of time to stay.
But he shouldn't be too quick to assume.

He went to go ask Florence if he could go outside and get some fresh air, Florence immediately refused to let him.

"But its just in the backyard, you could come with me if you'd like."
Parker offered her to come with him, but she declined.

"Im not trying to be rude, but why not?"
Parker asked out of pure curiosity.

"I don't want to leave my dad alone."
Florence replied with a frown plastered onto her pale-looking face.

Parker opened his mouth to argue with her, but quickly accepted that he probably wouldn't be able to convince her anyways.

"Its okay, i'll stay inside then."
Parker surrendered in annoyance. He left the dusty room and made his way back to his own.

He flopped down onto the bed wanting to scream into the pillow.
He thought of why Florence wouldn't let him go outside for just a short amount of time.

[Parker's thoughts]

Maybe she was scared that Parker would leave and Ramiro would take his chance to get his kill?
No, no. That can't be it, he would've killed her a long time ago when Parker wasn't there.

Maybe shes scared of the outside world?
No, shes not. Thats just too unrealistic.

What are you even thinking Parker?

Wait! Maybe she teamed up with Ramiro and they planned to kidnap and kill Parker? Maybe thats why Ramiro is acting so innocent yesterday?
No, but yes. You got a point there, Parker. But thats never happend, and he has always managed to escape these houses without any bruises.

[Out of Parker's thoughts]

Parker chuckled at his conclusions, some of them were funny.
But the last one scared him, he had a point.
