Jennie aggressively yanks her hand back from Jungkook's hold and huffs rubbing her hand.
"You mean Jungkook Hyung"

~flashback~ Jungkook POV
I was taking my things out of my locker when Taehyung came beside me
"Jungkook~ have you seen Jimin today? I swear I'm gonna die without my daily eye candy being here"

"Seriously Hyung not even a Hi?"
Taehyung snorted "No, so have you seen him?"

I rolled my eyes and closed my locker, "No, I haven't seen him. And speaking of him I haven't seen Joon today either" even if we just started the day Namjoon is usually here at this time.

"~Joon~ so you're starting with nicknames now?" Taehyung said teasingly

"So what, it's not like he cares," I said even though I care a lot for him he doesn't seem to care as much. I mean I don't expect him to it's not like he's my boyfriend or anything.

"He's with Yoongi if you didn't already forget that"

And he's dating my stepbrother

"Yeah yeah, those two don't even fit together. I mean you and Namjoon are a much better match for each other than him and Yoongi! It doesn't make any sense" Taehyung said dramatically "And because Jimin and Namjoon are best friends and you and I are best friends we could go on fun double dates, we can't go on double dates if Namjoon is dating Yoongi."

"I know Taehyung but there's nothing I can do, I can't exactly choose who Namjoon falls in love with," I said sadly

"They don't seem to be in love, even Hoseok and Yoongi would be a better couple! Like they have no chemistry at all and they do only ignore each other and they never show any affection toward each other either. There's no way they are actually in love" Taehyung desperately said in one breath.

"Hyung breathe we don't want you dying here do we?"

"I will die if my favorite ship doesn't get together," he said, dramatically falling to the floor.
People started looking at us " Yah stand up! People are looking" I said desperately even though I was used to being in the center of attention, i'd rather be in it because of my looks. Not my best friend embarrassing the shit out of me.

"I know!" he suddenly said standing up

"We are gonna get you and Namjoon together," he said looking at me

"What,"

"We. Are. Gonna. Get. You. And. Your. Precious. Namjoonie. Together."

"Yeah I understood that but how. And what are we going to do with Yoongi"
"We'll come up with something but first we gotta get to our class or we're gonna be late." He said starting to walk in the opposite direction

"Yah you can't just say something like that and walk away"

"Erm yes I can"

"Ugh, wait for me!" I said and jogged up to him

I was going to question him further when I saw Namjoon standing in the middle of the hallways with 4 girls, one of them was standing in front of him and she looked mad.

"Taehyung, you see Namjoon there," I asked while still looking at Namjoon

"Yeah, go up to him," he said slightly pushing me towards Namjoon

"No, no why would I do that. I literally have no business being there." I said panicking

"Oh come on, do you want to be his boyfriend?"

I nodded

"Then go there and be the 'hero' or whatever," He said

"Fine," I slowly walked to where Namjoon was standing seeing the girl shouting at him. How could she be mad at an angel like him, he's too cute.

I was daydreaming about him when I saw the girl raising her hand. I stopped walking at a sloth's pace and ran, I caught her hand just in time before she hit him.

"And who the hell are you to think you can lay your filthy hands on my baby"

Present 3rd POV

Jungkook internally cringed, he sounded like some weird-ass k-drama male lead. Cringe, cringe, cringeeee

"Jungkook?" he heard Namjoon and forgot all about what he just said
"You mean Jungkook Hyung" He saw how Namjoon rolled his eyes and tried his best not to make a wide grin right there

The girl yanked her hand from his hold and Jungkook rubbed his hand off on his shirt.
Who knows what she's been touching he thought looking her up and down, based on her outfit, he's usually not the one to judge but she looked like a whore.

She must've seen him looking at her and thought he was checking her out because she smirked and stopped rubbing her hand and stared at him instead "Like what you see"

He snorted "No, I'd rather watch Ms. Choi talk about her boring ass stories for hours straight than watch you" Everyone hates Ms. Choi's lessons she talks for ages, she's beyond boring. She's like 50 and gets mad over everything.

He saw the other girls trying to hold in their laugh

The girl scowled "Do you know who I am?"

"Nope"

"I'm Jennie Kim," she said and smirked, expecting a big reaction out of him and Namjoon because they never said her last name

None of them reacted

"Okay?"
She frowned
"Who exactly are you"

"Jeon Jungkook, not that much of a pleasure to meet you"

Her eyes widened

I glanced at Namjoon trying to signal him to introduce his full name too

"Kim Namjoon, Ma'am," he said and smirked, he isn't stupid he knew she didn't like when he called her that because it made her seem old but that's just his personality
