What happened?

"Kazutora,we're going to be late!" Chifuyu yelled from the kitchen. Kazutora snapped out of his thoughts.
"right,sorry!" Kazutora yelled back.
He ran trough the corridor into the kitchen grabbing his sweater and ran towards the door that chifuyu left open. Closing it and running towards the car him and chifuyu got back,he climbed inside.The dorve towards the pet shop chifuyu owned. The climbed out of the car and once the doors were shut he locked it.
The entered the unlocked shop. As the greeted the substitute worker there.They put down all of their valuable money at the back. They got into their clothing that they had to wear,for extra precautions. The shop was specially decorated for thus Halloween.
*meow*
Kazutora looked down to see a black cat with yellow eyes. He was more friendly than the others. Kazutora picked up the black cat and looked at it's adorable face,kazutora didn't have this kind of moments in his childhood so it was kinda new. The cat placed it's paws ontop of kazutora's mouth.
Meowing again at it still stared back. Chifuyu entered the room kazutora was in he walked behind kazutora.
"She seems to like you." He spoke
Kazutora slightly jumped at the sudden voice but immediately recognized it so he relaxed a little bit.
"I guess."
They both gave a sweet smile towards eachother.
"Is he for sale?" A voice spoke from infront of the counter .
"Oh,good morning ,this is actually a female black cat." Chifuyu answered.
"Thanks but i was actually talking to him." She said as she twisted her hair and bit her lip.
"Like chifuyu said,this is a female." Kazutora spoke.
"Oh,so clueless,i can work with that." She continued as she pressed her elbows against the counter.
Chifuyu looked disturbed,and uncomfortable but kazutora was mindlessly trying to figure out what she meant.
"I still do not understand?" kazutora asked.
"Wanna find out?" She spoke again.
There was an awkward silence between the 3 including the cat makes it 4. This silence was so loud it killed chifuyu inside.
"Im sorry,but im on work duty and i take this seriously,im going to have to turn down your offer. " kazutora said as a slight gesture for her to leave he turned his back and put the cat on the floor. Chifuyu only walked away.
She scoffed and turned away as she walked out of the store.
"Chifuyu?" Kazutora asked .
"Im back here." Chifuyu answered.
"Was there anything else?" Kazutora aksed yet again.
"No its fine ,oh wait,make sure the kittens are okay they are in the infirmary." Chifuyu said.
"Alright." Kazutora continued.
Kazutora walked past the cat on the floor and walked to the door on his right ( HIS (right not yours remember that.)The door was labeled as staff only with a foggy see through glass. He walked inside, the first thing he noticed,was the sight of small kittens running around and some are too tiny to even stand yet.
His eyes softened, he walked trough checking on every kitten in sight. His eyes stopped at the last box there was a mother cat and she was meowing very loudly. She had her back turned but as soon as she heard someone walk closer she hissed and stood her guard.
Kazutora looked a bit closer to find a little kitten the size of his palm laying still. His heart sunk as he gasped. He tried picking up the ppor creature but the mother was in the way it made it difficult to get to it.
Kazutora held out his hand for the mother to trust him . She still was on guard but she slowly sniffed his hand. She still wasn't sure but she backed away. Kazutora wore gloves in the first place so it would be fine. He picked up the kitten. He took a good look at it,a single tear fell from his eyes slowly rolling down his cheek.
The tear drop fel ontop of the kitten . As soon as it dit the body jerked up. Kazutora's eyes widened. As he cupped his hand together . He blew hot air ontop of the kitten. The kitten's head rised up. That's it! Kazutora took the blanket that was there and rapped the kitten with it. He sat the kitten aside and the mother followed. He sat on the ground and the mother stood nearby. He blew hot air again. The kitten was wiggling and yet he looks so young, was it just born?
Kazutora only looked in amusement. The mother climbed ontop of kazutora and grabbed her kitten with her mouth. She carried it towards the smae place they were found. They sat comfortably.
"New friend huh?" Chifuyu suddenly asked.
"Huh?"kazutora said as he quickly stood up.
A slight giggle came from chifuyu after he turned around. He walked out the door and kazutora soon followed. Kazutora Looked slightly embarrassed. Walking through the decorations and pumpkins .
"You know you kind of looked just like her." Chifuyu siad as hus back was turned to kazutora.
"Well,i guess." Kazutora replied.
"Then i might say you look like a cat too chifuyu." Kazutora continued.
A giggle Came from chifuyu as he held his hand infront of his mouth.
It all feels like a dream. A dream.
