Chapter 22

Vanessa-

Throughout the whole drive to the auction, Apollo was setting up the mic & giving me a long speech about being safe. My diamond earrings are the mic & I can hear everything that they say. My necklace has a camera implanted inside of it, & they'll be able to see everything.

We finally reach our destination & Apollo kisses me deeply. He pulls away & places a small kiss on my forehead.

"Okay princessa b-"

"Be careful, yes I got it. You have told me that at least 60 times." I laugh & he chuckles before nodding. He kisses my hand & removes one of his silver rings off his finger.

"This is to protect you." He says & I nod, my cheeks heating up. He slides the silver ring on my index finger & I smile.

"I need to go now." He sighs & nods, kissing me again. I open the door & step out of the SUV. I walk towards the tall & buff security guard & show him my fake ID. He looks for my fake name in the list & nods, allowing me in.

I say a quick & silent prayer before walking in. I look around & the place is filled with old & raggedy men. There is a couple of women accompanied by men. I can see the disgust & fear in their eyes.

"Checking in." I hear Sage say in the mic.

"All good." I say.

"Alright, sit at the bar at end & look for Mario." Mateo speaks & I nod. I slowly make my way to the bar, sitting on one of the bar stools. I look around & my eyes land on Mario getting a lap dance by a stripper.

"The woman dancing on him works for us, she will escort him to the VIP section private room. That's when you'll come in." Milo speaks & I nod. I watch him carefully, not wanting to make it obvious. I slightly jump when I hear a silent gunshot on the mic.

"Milo & I just killed the security guards." Mateo whispers & I sigh. They could've knocked them out but they're Valentino's.

"Apollo copy?" I hear Rosa's voice.

"I'm here, I just entered from the back door." He says & I smile.

"Okay, the bid will start in 20 minutes. That will give us enough time to get the women & grab Mario." Sage speaks & I nod. I order a drink & Rosa serves me. She hands me a note & I look around before opening it.

Beat his ass, pretty.

I laugh to myself & look up at her. She winks & I smile. I watch as the stripper grabs Mario by his tie & leads him upstairs. I take a quick sip out of my drink before slowly standing up & following them.

"Princess, be careful." I hear Apollo's concerned voice & I smile.

"I will my love." I say. I slowly make my way up the steps & when I turn the corner, a security guard stops me.

"VIP Pass?" He asks. This nigga big as fuck.

"I'm looking for the bathroom." I lie.

"Downstairs." He points behind me.

"It's packed."

"Not my problem." He shrugs, staring at me blankly.

"Look here bitch, either move out of my way or I'll move you myself." I say, holding the dagger up against his throat. He gulps & nods rapidly. I smile & elbow him in the stomach. He kneels on the ground & I knee him in the face, knocking him out.

I don't need his ass snitching.

"YES!" Rosa cheers.

"That's my girl." Apollo says & I smile.
