Date night (Cirrus x Cumulus fluff)

Cirrus walked through the aisles of the store, looking for something specific. She made her way to the flower section and started browsing through the colorful plants. She couldn't seem to find it. That's when one of the people working there came up to her. "Is there anything you're looking for, ma'am?" He wondered. "oh! I was just looking for some marigold flowers! Do you happen to have any?" the lean woman asked. "of course! Right this way, darling!" he exclaimed as he lead her away from the roses and irises. Cirrus followed, slightly uncomfortable with the fact that the clerk had just called her "darling." "It was probably just a kind nickname and nothing more," she thought. After a few seconds of walking, they made it to the marigold flowers. Cirrus picked up a bouquet of marigolds and was about to thank him and leave, until he put a hand on her shoulder. She was confused and uncomfortable. "so... Who're the flowers for? Your mom? Your dad? Your Grandma? Who?" he asked with a grin. The ghoulette looked around nervously. "umm they're for my... Girlfriend" she said. It wiped the grin right off of his face. "i-i wha- YOU'RE NOT SINGLE?!" he yelled. Cirrus knew exactly what she was dealing with. She looked at him with a pissed expression. "Nope! Now get out of my way, I've got a date with her!" she exclaimed as she tried to leave. "WAIT! DON'T GO! I NEED TO TALK TO YOU!" He yelled as he chased after her. Cirrus didn't really care. He could chase her all he wanted, but she had a date to get to, and nothing was stopping her from seeing Cumulus. He kept trying to stop her, but she ignored him. He eventually just gave up and stopped. She paid for the flowers and left. The ghoulette walked to her car and got in the drivers seat. She pulled her phone out of her jacket pocket and checked the time. 7:55 pm. Wait, 7:55 PM?! She promised to meet Cumulus at 8! She put the flowers in the passenger seat and started the car, quickly driving away from the store. "FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK!!" she cursed as she sped down the streets, probably breaking like 666 laws in the process. She drove to the street she was gonna meet her girlfriend at. When we got there, she saw the short ghoulette sitting on a bench, patiently waiting for Cirrus. Her face lit up when she saw her car. She waved violently to get her attention, but Cirrus already saw her. The tall ghoulette parked on the side of the road and got out, frantically grabbing the marigolds and running across the street to her girlfriend. She stopped and panted heavily with her hands resting on her knees. "I- *gasp* I got you marigolds *whew*" Cirrus panted, holding out the yellowish orange flowers. Cumulus' eyes sparkled when she saw them. She excitedly picked them up and smelled them. "Awww~ They're lovely!~ Thank you babe~" the small woman said, giving Cirrus a kiss on the cheek. She perked up and blushed a bit, rubbing the back of her neck in embarrassment. "o-oh it was nothing" she replied. "so, do you want to go to that new tea place down the street? I heard they have really good boba" Cirrus asked her. "sure! It sounds nice!" she replied. Cirrus took the short girl's hand and walked down the empty streets. The moon was shining brightly in the black sky. The stars shimmered like diamonds. Cumulus loved looking at the stars at night. They reminded her of Cirrus' eyes. She had put the flowers in her backpack so she wouldn't have to carry them everywhere. Cirrus pulled her fluffy wool coat onto her shoulders as the 2 kept walking. After a few minutes, they finally made it. The walked in and looked at the menu. "what do you want, Cirrus?" "I'm getting a caramel latte and a pumpkin spice muffin. Have you decided?" "IT'S SO HARD! THERE ARE TOO MANY OPTIONS!!" "do you want me to surprise you?" "Go for it!" Cirrus and Cumulus walked up to the girl working. "what can I get for you, ladies?" "Uh yeah I'll have a large caramel latte, a pumpkin spice muffin, a large taro bubble tea, and a ham and cheese croissant" "What flavor do you want the boba?" "do you want tapioca?" "sure" "will that be all for you?" "yep!" "that'll be $9.99" Cirrus paid for the food and drinks and sat down at a table, waiting for their order. "thanks for picking for me, we would be there FOREVER if you didn't! How did you even know what I would like?!" Cumulus exclaimed. "I know what you like. You're welcome by the way" Cirrus replied. They chatted and laughed together. After their order was finished, Cirrus grabbed it and took it to their table. Cumulus took a sip of her taro bubble tea. "this is good! That person was right about the boba!" the tiny lady exclaimed. Cirrus giggled and took a bite out of her muffin. They laughed and laughed at old stories. Cirrus told her girlfriend about what happened at the store. She seemed upset about it. "What kind of guy just flirts with a random girl they just met and gets pissed when she's taken?! *sigh* I'm sorry you had to go through that, babe" She yelled, but then softened her voice after taking a bite of her croissant. "It's okay, Cumulus. He was easy to get away from" the leaner girl replied. Cumulus slid her hand across the table. Cirrus moved her hand on top of hers. She used her other hand to cup her cheek. They got closer and closer to each other, until their lips met. Cirrus held her cheeks as they shared a passionate kiss. Cumulus loved the taste of the cherry lip gloss she wore on every single date they went on. She always tried to get a taste during their dates. What Cirrus loved about the kisses was the way Cumulus hugged her during them. She was so good at hugging. Even if it was snowing, her hugs could warm you to your core. They kept at it until they needed to pull back for air. They stared into each others' eyes for a moment. It was like time stopped. "You're so sweet, Cirrus~" "you are too~" after their sentimental moment, they decided to leave. They had eaten all of their food, but they kept their drinks since they were in plastic cups and could be easily transported. They walked back to Cirrus' car and got in. "hey, Cumulus. How did you get here? I didn't see your car" "oh! Rain dropped me off!" "nice!" She started the car and drove home. The short female leaned her head on the taller one's shoulder. It was pretty late and they were both tired. As soon as they got home, they put their drinks in the fridge and changed into more comfy clothes. Cirrus wore a white tank top and black sweatpants. Cumulus was wearing a baggy t-shirt and shorts. "everyone is asleep. Wanna watch some horror?" Cumulus asked. Cirrus nodded and got out the TV remote. They sat on the couch in front of the TV and turned on Scream. The short lady snuggled up with her. Cirrus nuzzled into her messy hair. She held the shorter one in her arms. They laid down on the couch and cuddled. They were all tangled up in each other when they finally fell asleep together.
