Flower Field (Dewdrop x Aether fluff)

"GET OUT OF THE TREE, MOUNTAIN!" Cardinal yelled at the tall Ghoul clinging onto the strong branch. "NO!" He hissed back. Aether was watching the nonsense go down from a picnic table. Dew was sitting next to him, also watching the chaos. Mountain had climbed up in a tall tree and was refusing to come down. It was relatively normal for him, and just as entertaining everytime he did it. It was amusing watching Cardinal scold the tall ghoul from down below. Dew leaned his head on his shoulder and sighed. Aether pulled him closer and nuzzled into his neck. "GET AWAY FROM MEEE!" The two ghouls perked up in surprise, wondering why Swiss was screaming for something to get away from him. Their question was answered when they saw him running away from a drone that was controlled by Cumulus. Cirrus tagged along behind her. "IT'S GONNA GET YOUUU!" The small ghoulette yelled as she chased him along with the drone and Cirrus. "Do you wanna get away from this, Dew?" the beefy ghoul asked him with a warm smile. Dewdrop replied with a simple, "sure," as he got up and held Aether's hand in his smaller one. He led him away from all of the chaos and to a stream near where they were. They sat next to it and watched the crystal clear water flow. Dew laid his head in Aether's lap and purred softly. He ran his clawed fingers through the small ghoul's silvery hair. It was calm out here. The serene environment was enough to put someone to sleep. The willow trees, the running water, the lovely flowers, all of it was just mesmerizing. Dewdrop's eyes fluttered closed as he took a deep breath, nuzzling against the beefier ghoul's thigh. Aether relaxed and just took it all in. He thought Dew looked adorable when he slept. It felt different seeing him so calm, especially since he's usually always an exploding volcano of energy. Aether pet his head and stared at the running water. Suddenly, he heard a noise. His ears twitched as he looked around on high alert. After a few seconds, he heard it again. It sounded like distant cheering. A few seconds later, he noticed a bush in the distance moving. He unsheathed his claws, ready to protect the sleeping ghoul in his lap. The beefy ghoul eyed the bush with a piercing stare. His teeth were bared and he let out a low pitched growl. In an instant, Rain popped out of the bush and flopped right into the water. Aether almost instantly relaxed and worriedly got up to check on him, which woke up Dewdrop. "Hmm? What's going on?" He asked with tired, slurred speech. The small ghoul noticed Aether helping Rain up and realized that it was nothing to worry about. "Are you okay?" Aether asked the shorter male. "Yeah, I'm fine! Don't worry!" He replied, his clothes completely soaked. He asked what Rain was doing and mentioned that he probably would've attacked him if he wasn't careful. The water ghoul told him that he was playing around in the stream and didn't know that he and Dew were there. Aether assured him that he was fine and that he could continue. Rain immediately ran off to go play in the water more. The beefy ghoul went back to Dew, who was laying down in the grass. "Sorry for leaving! Should we go somewhere else? I don't really wanna be distributed again!" Aether asked. The small ghoul simply nodded and got up. He told Dewdrop, "yknow if you're too tired to walk, I can carry you!" "Oh okay! I guess you can," he replied. Aether immediately scooped the small male into his arms and carried him bridal style through the water and between willow trees. Dew thought it always felt so nice to be in Aether's arms. He was a lot smaller than him, so when the beefy ghoul held him, he embraced all of him. It felt especially good in the winter. It would be freezing cold outside, but he'd always feel warm in Aether's arms. Dewdrop laid his head against the larger ghoul's chest as he carried him. He carried the small boy for a few minutes, until they reached a clearing. In the distance, they saw a big yellow mass. Out of curiosity, Aether walked over there, still holding Dew. Upon closer inspection, he realized it was a large field of flowers. When they finally got there, he set the small ghoul down in the patch of golden flowers and sat down with him. Aether laid down and stared up at the light blue sky, holding Dewdrop's hand. The small male wrapped his arms around him and nuzzled into his neck. Aether planted a soft kiss on Dew's forehead as he laid his head on top of his. "Hey, Dewdrop?" "Yeah?" "Do you want me to make a flower crown for you? I know how to make them," Aether asked him. The short boy nodded and smiled softly. He quickly sat up and picked three flowers. The beefy ghoul braided them together and kept picking more golden yellow flowers to add to them. Dew sat up as well and wrapped his arms around his waist. He laid his head on his collarbone and breathed down his neck calmly as he made a flower crown. After a few minutes, Aether said "I finished!" Dewdrop perked up and asked to see it. Instead of showing him, the beefy ghoul put it on his head. "Awww! It looks cute on you!" He cooed with sparkly eyes. "S-Shut the fuck up," Dew replied, rolling his eyes and hiding his red tinted face. "Don't cover yourself, babe! You're adorable when you blush!" The larger ghoul purred, moving the small boy's hands away from his face. Dewdrop looked away with a frustrated expression, his blushing face revealed to Aether. "See! You're so pretty! Plus, when you don't hide yourself, I can do this!" After his speech, he immediately started kissing all over the small boy's face and neck. He giggled and tried to push him off. "A-Aether! Stop!" Dew snickered. The beefy ghoul pushed him down into the flowers and continued kissing and nibbling all over his neck. Dewdrop's grey, pointed tail was wagging like crazy. Aether then started tickling his sides. That set Dew off. He laughed maniacally and intensely tried to get him off. Dewdrop was howling with laughter. His face was completely red.  Aether finally decided to stop when he realized Dew was struggling to breathe. He panted violently as he hugged the bigger ghoul. "I love you, Dewdrop," he softly muttered as he held the small boy tightly. "I love you too, Aether," Dew replied, his arms wrapped around the beefy ghoul's neck. Aether checked his watch and realized how late it was getting. "SHIT! WE HAVE TO GET BACK TO THE OTHERS!" he yelled as he grabbed Dewdrop's hand and dragged him back around the willow trees and through the stream, until they got back to where the other ghouls were. Rain was all wet and wrapped up in a towel. The Ghoulettes had put up their drone. Mountain FINALLY got out of the tree. Swiss was ranting to Cardinal about the drone. Everyone turned to look at Aether and Dewdrop when the finally burst out of the woods, covered in flower petals and pollen and panting violently. "Where did you two lovebirds go? We were wondering where you went!" Cumulus asked. "Nowhere! We went nowhere!" Aether stammered, walking over to sit next to the Ghoulettes with Dew. They sat next to the two ladies and tried to catch their breath. Cirrus looked over at Dewdrop's flower crown and picked it up off of his head. "Where'd you get this, Fire boy?~" she teased, giving him a smug look. "G-Give that back, bitch!" Dew angrily growled. "Come get it, lover boy!" The tall ghoulette mocked as she held the flower crown over her head. Because Dew is a short bitch, he was unable to reach it. He was about to tackle her, until Aether got up and grabbed it out of her hand. She sat back down and gave Dewdrop another smug look before going back to talking to Cumulus. Aether placed the flower crown back on the short ghoul's head. "Thanks," he said. "No problem!" Aether replied. They stared at the sunset as everyone else packed up all of their things and went back to the house. Before Cardinal left, he asked them if they were coming. Aether told him they were gonna stay for awhile. After Cardi left, the two ghouls stared at the orange colored sky and held hands. The beefy ghoul cupped Dew's cheek and got his head closer to his. Dewdrop wrapped his arms around Aether's neck as their lips met. They shared a deep, passionate kiss as the sun set.
