11장 | possibilities 가능성

"How did you know she likes japchae?" Junhyuk whispered Jay who was beside him. The girl infront of them didn't seek any attention, focused on the japchae that Jay made.

Jay secretly smiled when Seohae didn't care of everything, fixed her eyes on the food. He noticed that Seohae's hair kept bothering her bare face from eating. He stood up and went beside her seat. "Where are you going?"

She asked as she turned her head behind and saw Jay in confusion. "I told you to tie your hair, stop being such a kid." He nagged as he held her face, facing it forward.

He gently placed his hands on her hair, fixing it to tie it into a ponytail. Jay had an extra tie on his hand which he knew that Seohae will be needing it.

Seohae lowered her head, touching where Jay had tied it. She showed a little grin from her mouth as her heart was flattered with his actions.

Junhyuk was there, seeing all the scene and harshly drop the fork on the ceramic plate. "What the--what did you do?" Jay checked the plate if they weren't any cracks because of what Junhyuk did.

"I lost my appetite." Junhyuk leaned back, crossing his arms, looking flustered. "Why are you being so gloomy?"

"It's because of you." Junhyuk pointed out Seohae as she was confuse. "I never seen you smile like that ever since you were young." He looked away, feeling upset.

"What are you talking, is it impossible to smile back again?" She chuckled, leaning her back. "I didn't notice I was smiling, thank you for telling me."

Jay finished the food and stood up on his seat. He was silent after what he did for Seohae earlier. He grabbed the  plate from the two and was heading to the sink.

"What do you think your doing?" Seohae asked as she tried to stop him from washing the dishes again. "Let me do it."

"Stop acting like I'm your guest. You can't blame your wounds from that accident. I'll let you do this if your we're fine." Jay walked past her, leaving her behind.

Seohae didn't give up and tried to stop him again. She went beside him and grabbed the plate. Good thing Jay didn't let go of the plate as he didn't want to let Seohae wash it.

"Let go!" She tried to get the plate from him, but Jay was still holding it. He pulled it making Seohae suprised, sh pulled it back as he had the same expression as Seohae.

"Give it to me..." Seohae kept asking for the plate, but Jay keeps om refusing. Without wasting any time, he pulled the plate hardly that Seohae was pulled also by his force.

She directly dragged Jay's shoulders down as the plate fell of his hands and scattered on the ground. You think it was nothing than a unromantic duo getting into this situation.

Seohae immediately stood up as Junhyuk supported her getting up. Seohae carelessly picked up the broken piece and got a cut on her index finger.

"Why did you pick it up?" Junhyuk scolded Seohae who was standing calmly, not affected by the cut she had. "I'm fine, it's just a cut." She loosened her wrist from him and sat down on the couch.

Jay just silently watched her actions, seemed worried a little. He doesn't want to overeact nor nag her about being careless. He sat beside her and reached his hand to the bag which was on the table infront of them. "Give me your hand."

Seohae lended her hand to him, he applied the band-aid on her index and sealed it just the right size of her finger.
"Your incharge of taking care of her index, understand?" He lowkey spoked on the bear patterned band-aid, making Seohae chuckle.
