13장 | in return for saving me 나를 구해준 대가로

"Where is he?" Junhyuk muttered while he waits for Jay to pick up the call. He called him many times as his father had a problem in Seoul. Jay arrived shortly at the airport, catching his breath as he came.

"Is my flight ready?" He asked Junhyuk who was standing right infront of him, seems distracted by someone behind him. "Am I crazy talking to myself?" Jay spoke up with a tone making Junhyuk gaze back at him. "Your flight will be boarding soon."

After he replied, he walk past him and walked towards Seohae. She showed up her right palm with a grin from her mouth. "Are you coming with him?" She asked curiously as Jay was behind them, crossing his arms.

"For the meantime, I have to stay here and replace Jay's meetings." Seohae nodded as if she was peeking behind Junhyuk's back. "Wait here."

She tapped his shoulders as she walk past him, heading to Jay. "Are you really leaving?" She asked as if she didn't want to be left alone. Jay nodded in response and held her wrist. "Wear this." He attached a butterfly bracelet on her arm.

Seohae smiled widely as she admired the bracelet. "I have to go now." Jay patted her head three times and bend to her height. "Call me." He smirked making Seohae punch his shoulder.

"Just go." She pointed out the way making Jay chuckled as he held his luggage. Jay walk towards the entrance and waved at her. Seohae showed her palm, length to her chest as a goodbye. He walked further and was nowhere on her vision.

"You two are getting close." Junhyuk came closer to Seohae as she was admiring the bracelet. "I guess not that much." She shortly replied. "Let's grab some breakfast." Junhyuk suggested.

"I'm already full. He bought me hot buns by the seashore."

"Where did you two go?" He confusely asked.

"I thought he was wasting my time by going somewhere irrelevant, but when we arrived, he brought me to my mom's grave for her death anniversary." She spoke up as she walks away from him.

Junhyuk questioned himself after being clueless with his friends actions. He catched up paces with her and went to the bus stop together.

How did he possibly knew about her mother's death anniversary?

How come I don't know?

"Appa!" Jay was startled as his father collapsed on the floor. "Are you okay?" He asked as he helped him to stood up.

"I don't think this company will be successful as before." His father spoke up. "I lended a huge amount on this business, but turned out useless after having problems on the marketing." He sat on his chair and pinched his head of frustration.

"Is there any way of bringing back our money?"

"There's no way we can bring it back. The only thing we can do is invest again from another company for more income." He responded.

"Which company we'll be investing?" Jay asked curiously.

"Jangshim Industry." He shortly replied as he stood up on his seat, walking towards the tall window, revealing other buildings afar.

"What? Jangshim Industry is your rival in business. You know you ended plans with that company. Why are we asking help from them?"
