Harry and I made our way to Lupins office. He had agreed to teach us how to defend ourselves against Dementor's and we planned to learn how.

"You came. Good. Now are you sure you two want to do this? It is very hard magic?" He eyed us and we nodded. We were ready. "Right. The spell I'm going to try and teach you is called the Patronus Charm. Have you two heard of it?" We shook our heads. "No? Well, a Patronus is a positive force. For the wizard who conjures one, it works something like a shield, with the Dementor feeding on it rather than him. Each witchy and wizard has an animal. They can be the same animal, but since James was a Stag and Lily's was a doe. I think that Harry's is a stag and Lila's is a doe. But we won't find that out yet."

"But in order for it to work, you need to think of a happy memory. Not just any happy memory a powerful happy memory. Can you do this. Yes? Very well. Harry first." Harry stood in front of Lupin, who was sitting on a box. "Close your eyes. Concentrate. Explore your memories. Find the perfect one. Found one?" Harry nodded. "Good, allow it to engulf your mind. Think of it and make it bigger. More powerful. When you are ready. Speak the incantation; Expecto Patronum." Harty spoke these words, opened his eyes and prepared himself for the Dementor. Nodding, Lupin lifted the lid of the chest and a Dementor flew out.

Right at Harry! He was surprised and faintly spoke. "Expecto Patronum." It didn't work, and he fainted. Lupin put the Dementor back in the chest. He splashed a bit of water on Harry's face and he came round. Leaning him up against a pillar, Lupin looked into his eyes.

"Here have this." He handed Harry a bit of chocolate. "There you go. Now I don't expect you two to get it the first time. That would be remarkable.

"Thanks. That's one nasty Dementor." Harry said looking at the chest.

"Oh no. That is a bogart. The real thing would have been much, much worse."

"Harry? Vhat vere you zhinking?" I asked.

"The first time I rode a broom."

"Well, no. That's not good enough. That's not nearly good enough. You need a more powerful memory. Alright? Lila your next." Lupin said, exasperated.

I positioned my self a good distance away from the chest. Closing my eyes I search through my memory. I don't remember much about my past, so I decide on a much recent one. I open my eyes, raise my wand and nod for Lupin to open the chest. I took in a deep breath.

The bogart flew at me. "Expecto Patronum." At first my voice was weaker than I wanted it. Standing up to a bogart Dementor was frightening. "Expecto Patronum!" I said with greater force this time and a white aurora came out of the tip of my wand. It was weakening me for it was my first try but I pushed all my energy into my wand. I directed the bogart back into the chest and there Lupin closed the chest.

"Well done! Haha! Well done Lila!" I was absolutely exhausted and sat where Harry had sat earlier. He got it on his next go and it was only afterwards that I asked him.

"Harry? Vhat vere you zhinking?" He just shook his head and didn't answer. I was bothered by the fact that Harry, my only brother wouldn't tell me.

"What were you thinking?" He asked. "You don't have to tell me if you don't want to."

"No I vill. It vas the virst time I met you, Hermione and Ron."

He gasped. "You said aeons name right!"

"I did."

"That was my memory too, by the way."

I smiled at him. "All you had to do vas tell me!" And punched him in the shoulder.
