CHAPTER 37

THIRD PERSON POV

The sun was ready to hide behind the endless horizon and its bright golden rays were converted into red pink and purplish hues making the sky look enchanting. A boy was sitting on the terrace to witness the beautiful view but his mind was occupied with other things.

His hairs dancing with the cool slow wind and falling to his forehead to hide those hazel orbs didn't disturbed his eyes from staring into blankness. Everything was so silent but the storm that was running through his mind and heart didn't let him feel the peace that was surrounding him.

It has been two day since he saw both of them being so close but his last string of hope which his heart has unknowingly caught snapped making his heart bleed. No one can see the pain behind that practiced fake smile because he can't ruin everything for everyone.

He was just.....broken....beautifully broken.

Fifteen minutes could have passed when he felt somebody sitting beside him. He looked over his shoulder and smiled weakly when a pink haired boy passed him a smile.

They both sat there in silence, not saying anything but their minds were questioning so many things. The sun was now going down as the darkness starting enveloping everything inside him. They both sat their witnessing the end of one more day.

One more day passed, and it made both of them scared but due to different reasons. One was afraid of his decision to confess his feelings and Jungkook's reaction to it while the other was scared that he will have to go away from Jungkook because it is how it should be.

'' It is so peaceful here...isn't it?'' Taehyung broke the ice and Jimin chuckled sarcastically.

'' How bad that it can't make a person feel at peace.'' Taehyung looked at Jimin, reading his expressions as Jimin continued to stare ahead of him.

'' You can't feel peaceful until your heart is contented. Feeling of happiness comes from inside, what you see outside is just a façade.'' Taehyung commented, now looking straight.

'' Sometimes, you are so helpless that you can't achieve your inner happiness even when you know what will make you contented.'' Jimin let his inner sadness reflect in his voice.

'' But, shouldn't a person try?...just once?''

'' What's the use of doing something that will bring only hurt and sadness? Life is not easy, Tae.''

''But you don't seem to be sad normally. I see you always smiling.''

'' Did you forget your own words?....What you see outside is just a façade. I too have so many problems, my parents are not with me, they don't love me...everyone thinks that my life is so easy coz am a son of a billionaire... But You can't buy love with money ''

'' You sound so mature...Not the childish Jimin who argues with Jungkook on every little thing.'' Taehyung said, now looking at Jimin who was staring at the sky where stars have started to come out of their home to peek how many more hearts have been shattered on earth today.

'' That's the only thing that makes me genuinely happy. I argue with him coz it give me some inner contentment.'' Jimin replied chuckling making Taehyung to look at him with all seriousness.

'' I know I am talking non sense, but it is how it is. He can lift up my mood even without trying. I am so thankful for having a friend like him.'' Jimin replied, now looking in Taehyung's amber eyes.

'' Friend?... But my eyes can't be wrong. I can clearly see what you feels for him.'' Taehyung asked and Jimin quickly turned to stare ahead of him again to hide his emotions from Taehyung.
