Chapter 2: First Day Of Work

Ruby was snuggling with Cai as if she were her pillow.

Cai wakes up to stretch to find out that Ruby was cuddling her.

She took Ruby's hands off of her and she headed to the bathroom till she bumped into a muscular woman. "Sorry, dude.", Cai responded, not looking up.

The woman's name is Kits and is a bit taller than Cai. She is a muscular monkey with gray fur and wears one hoop earring.

Cai then looked up and began to shake in fear. "I- I'm sorry for not seeing where I was going. Honest. Please don't hurt me."

Kits began to laugh at Cai's reaction. "Dude, I'm not going to hurt you. And I can't believe a tomboy gets scared easily." Cai got off the floor quickly and said, "I was just testing you. Anyway, the name's Cai."

"My name is Kits. Nice to meet ya." Cai then went to take a shower. When she got out, she then headed back to the room. She got dressed and saw Ruby still asleep. "Aww..... How cute.", Cai said with a smile then grabbed a bull horn to wake her up.

Ruby began to panic and then punched Cai for waking her up like that. "Dude, relax!", Cai replied as she was rubbing her cheek. "DON'T SNEAK UP ON ME LIKE THAT!!", Ruby screamed at her and she decided to go back to sleep.

Cai then grabbed her and put her over her shoulder. "How about a nice bath to start the day?", Cai said with a smirk on her face. She then locked her inside the bathroom as she said,"You're not leaving until you have a BATH!"

Ruby just gave in and took a quick bath.

She came out dressed and smelling fresh. Ruby was crossing her arms and walked downstairs to make a bowl of cereal. "Rub, I'm sor-", Cai said but got cut off by Ruby. "Cai, do you see that ghost?"

"Hi, there. My name is Peace Sign Ghost. How are you?", PSG said to Cai and Ruby. Out of nowhere, Cai finds Ruby in her arms.

Cai "accidentally" drops Ruby on the floor. "Awesome! A ghost! How are ya, PSG?"

"Great but Bonnie is calling all the employees out in the front. Better eat fast, girls.", PSG said before she floated away.

After they are their breakfast, they headed outside with the other employees.

"Finally! I thought you gals were sleeping for a minute there.", Bonnie said.

"So there's a wedding that is going to be held here at the park. I have divided the work individually for everyone. Michelle and Peace Sign Ghost, you are working on the decorations. Kits, you in charge of the catering the food and the wedding cake. Lolly, you are in charge music. As for Cai and Ruby, you are in charge of invitations. Please get your work done or you're fired. ", Bonnie said as she yelled at the end, making the message loud and clear to all employees.

"Let's not screw up on this job.", Cai said to Ruby, only to notice that she wasn't paying attention to her. "C'mon, dude. We can't get fired on the first day.", Cai continued saying, hitting Ruby on the back of her head.
