On reaching to her destination,she flew out of the cab without bothering to say thanks to David,much to his pleasure.She would NOT get satisfy untill she see the train herself.
It was cold as wind started to blow.She shivered and hugged her body,muttering ,"Curse you black pants! Curse you!"
As she looked up,finally she saw the train in all its "glory".There werent much people around.
I will never EVER help anyone!,she silently promised with herself,looking behind her back to check if he was following her? She saw the cab with no "him" in it.
The final bell was ringing,signaling the passengers to board.
Her throat felt parched,itchy.Ughh i am soo thirsty! All that running yelling!
She quickly jogged to the first shop she saw.It was small and kind of cozy.
"Water please",she huffed at the young man with pale blue eyes.He nodded and gave her a bottle of sparkling mineral water.Getting impatient,she snatch the bottle from his grasp at the last second and drank like a thirst crazed camel
Pale blue eyes looked at her ...curious.
"You know" gulp gulp "a time will come when" gulp gulp " water will be out of" gulp gulp "our reach by God "gulp gulp.She wiped her mouth with the sleeve of her Tee.
"How much?",she asked,feeling good now.
"That will be two dollars Miss",he answered polietly.
"WHAT?!".her eyes were bugging out of their sockets as if he told her he was Voldemort.
"um..?",he raised his eyebrow.
"Are you kidding me?! This can't be possible!"
"Actually it can be possible....miss",he looked annoy now.
"O yeaaah?! Lemme call the consumer service,may be THEN we will know who is right! I know what you are thinking! Oh look a lonely teenage girl,lets CON her!",she slammed her fists down on the counter,slightly wincing.
He rolled his eyes,"You are making a big deal out of it"
"A big deal is it?! If its such a "big deal" to you then why are you expecting to-to",she slowly,fearfully, turned around and Voila!
No train.It left her .Again.
No no no no no.She and her big fat mouth!
She wipped her head back to blue eyes and held her arm to him.
"Pinch me",she croaked
He frowned,"Excuse me?",was this girl on drugs?
"Are you deaf?! Pinch me.Now!"
He pinched her with an annoyed expression .
She looked around dreadfully,hoping with all she had-
Nope,still no train.
She covered her mouth with her hands,bending down,her hands on her knees.
"Miss are you alright?"
Tears sprang in her eyes.This can't be happening again.She clutched her stomach as if afraid her stomach will fall .
I can do it! All i have to do is ask the "man" behind the desk about the next stop.yeah thats right! .She quickly made her way ,standing infront of a worn out,about-to-fall-and-kill-everyone-inside office.
She marched in,a man with greasy hair and big nose snapped his head up towards her from the files he was reading.
"May i help you?",ughh even his voice was greasy,she thought.
She was about to answer when he cut her off,"I see you have missed your train",he looked at her..up and down ,making her blood pressure rise .
"You know Life is like a platform,one inch bend and everthing is lost.I had also missed my train but,"he pause for a dramatic effect,she quirked her eye brow"during that time i was a man..i mean i am still a man..but you are a girl,"he dropped his voice a few notches,"a girl alone is like an open valut.Do you know what can happen with you?",he asked her in his greasy voice,looking gleeful
Her eyes started to spark,something swirling and sizzling in them as she pasted a smile on her face,saying,"Um the stuff you just "enlightened" me with...do you charge some price for it or is it free?"
He shrugged,"No,its free-"
"GOOD!",he flinched at the volume of her voice,"BECAUSE I HAVEN'T GOT PENNIES RIGHT NOW !".
she slammed the door behind her as she stalked out of his office,cheeks red,eyes spiting fire,lips in a tight line.she sat on a bench and clutched her head,
"open valut!...that bastard!"
