Chapter 1: Milla Maxwell

Flashback

A young boy watched as a man and a woman layed on the ground before the two are saved by a mysterious hooded figure.

???: Are you two ok??

The man and woman weakly stand up at the same time.

Black haired man: Yes, thank you....

Brown haired woman: We must stop the dragon before it destroys this village!

The three charged at the dragon, causing everything to turn white. Then, the boy opened his eyes where he is in the arms of the hooded figure.

The figure talked to him with a frown after noticing him waking up.

???: I'm sorry, Hyuga... But your parents...

The boy became horrified when he saw his parents laying on ground with a pool of blood under them.

The mysterious figure then kissed the boy in the forehead before casting a hypnotizing spell that made the boy fall asleep.

After the spell becomes effective, the mysterious figure whispered to the sleeping boy's ear.

???: But it's ok... I'll protect you, no matter what... I promise...

Flashback Ends

Hyuga, now a teenager, woke up in bed before opening the door, smelling the fresh air.

Hyuga: Ahh... fresh airs are great after waking up...

Hyuga is then called by a man, who talks to him.

Man: Hey, Hyuga. Jude needs your help. I believe it was something important...

Hyuga nods before heading to the hospital and found Jude waiting for someone until he noticed Hyuga.

Jude: Hey, Hyuga. Thank you for coming.

Hyuga smiled.

Hyuga: No problem, Jude. So, what's the problem...??

Jude: Professor Haus hasn't returned yet so i'm waiting for him. But, i've waited for a long time and still no sign of him.

Hyuga touched his chin with a finger to think before speaking.

Hyuga: Do you know where he went...??

Jude: Yeah... he was going on a top secret research in Laforte.

Hyuga nods.

Hyuga: Got it... so i just need to check to see if he's safe.

Jude nods before waving Hyuga goodbye.
