Chapter 7: Bermia Gorge and Nameless Anomaly

As the group enters the canyon, they looked up at a wall of rock before Teepo speaks.

Teepo: You dont expect us to climb this, do you? I don't even have hands!

From on top of a cliff, a bowgun is aimed at Elize, which Hyuga noticed and pushed the girl out of the way.

Hyuga: Look out!

Hyuga's companions then splits into two groups to hide from the sniper.

While hiding, Alvin speaks to Milla.

Alvin: The millitary??

Milla: I suppose they don't want us to see what they are doing here... can you handle it.

Alvin then tries to shoot the sniper but he ducked before the arrows could hit him.

Alvin: I can't, i'm pinned down...

Teepo then speaks while panicking.

Teepo: Aaah! Superpals, do something!

Milla: We need a distraction.

Hyuga then speaks to Milla, who was surprised to hear what Hyuga just said.

Hyuga: Milla, i'll draw the shooter's attention while you go from behind and take them out..

Milla: But that's dangerous! Do you even know what you just said! I'll go!

Hyuga clenched his fist before talking.

Hyuga: It will be fine. Please, Milla. Trust me.

Milla looked down before nodding.

Milla: Alright. We'll leave this to you...

Hyuga nods back before stepping out of his hiding place and walked forward.

The sniper tried to shoot Hyuga's head but the boy dodged the attack, surprising her.

Sniper: How the hell did he dodge that?!

Unknown to the sniper, Milla appeared behind and slashed her before jumping down to the group.

Hyuga then speaks.

Hyuga: Nice work, Milla.

Milla looked at Hyuga and noticed a cut on his cheek, causing her to speak at the boy.

Milla: Hyuga, hold still...

Hyuga: Huh??

Hyuga stood still as Milla pulled out a hankerchief and wiped the blood that was coming out of the cut.

Milla speaks to Hyuga with a smile after wiping the blood off.

Milla: Don't be reckless next time, okay..

Hyuga nods and scratched his cheek while faintly blushing.

Hyuga: Y-Yes...

Hyuga then noticed something glowing from behind Milla, who noticed the glow and talks.

Milla: That feeling again... That same one from Fennmont.

The group walked towards the glow, which turned out to be a barrier.

Rowen then noticed Cline among the people who are being experimented on and speaks.

Rowen: Lord Cline! So they were performing experiments on humans.

Milla stepped forward to touch the barrier but Alvin warned her.

Alvin: Stop! It'll tear your hand right off.

Hyuga's voice became shaky upon seeing what's behind the barrier.

Hyuga: Th-This device... this is... like the same one that killed Professor Haus back in the laboratory!
