Epilogue

(I decided to write this randomly in the middle of watching YouTube cause I just remembered I marked it as finished without any time of ending...)
So

12 years later

selina wasn't much of a sentimental person— the complete opposite, really.

however, the day she sat watching her family run around in a beautiful natural field, arguing with one another and playing pointless games, a feeling of domestication flitted through her body and had her smiling like a mad woman.

jane and alec had their recently (in the past 10 years) turned mates and were still attached to them by the hip. the three kings didn't often take part in the childish games but rather put their duties to the side and watched the others mess around, ready to step in if things went wrong.

emmett and rosalie fit in perfectly with the high ranked guards who let down their stoic ways to enjoy the rare occasion of personal freedom. the males often roughoused and took part in petty strength contests that meant very little to anyone else.

james and victoria (and often selena) were always messing around with the lower ranked guards— some only accepted for less than a couple of years. they knew how it felt to be in a new environment and liked to encourage them to join in with activities.

"hey baby." victoria greeted as she flipped down next to selena, laying her head on the younger vampires legs to look up at her "you should join us."

selena gave her a wide smile and bent down to give her a peck on the lips "I'm okay watching for today, my love."

the red head hummed and sat up straight, leaning towards selena and giving her a much deeper kiss, her hand coming up to scrunch selenas hair in her hand to pull her impossibly close.

when she pulled away, selena ran her hands up and down the olders arms before gently pushing her away.

"go on." selena told her and victoria pouted "we have all night to do that."

"I suppose so~" victoria drawled before lunging forward to place one last short kiss on her lovers lips and then running off with a loud laugh.

james caught the unruly woman in his arms and span her around in the air, only enhancing the laughter as selena looked on found.

she wouldn't mind this being her forever.
