Lin was sitting next to kya practicing her earth bending on the beach while kya practiced her bending on the water, when Tenzin ran up to Lin. "Lin wanna play princess and knight with me?"
"yeah! I wanna be the knight" Lin cheered
"no you have to be the princess" Tenzin corected
"why me?"
"because your a girl and princesses are girls"
"hows about kyas the princess" Lin said bending some pebles into the shape of a crown and placing it on kyas head casuing kya to blush lightly
"No! you need to be the princess and I'll be the knight and protect you" Tenzin whined
"but kyas the princess and I'll be the knight and protect her from the evil witch tenzin" Lin explained
"NOOOO! I'm not evil, you has to be the princess" Tenzin whined throwing a fit
"No you'r the evil witch I'm protecting princess kya from" Lin said and threw some sand in tenzins eyes casuing him to cry and run tward his parents.
After a few minutes katara came over to talk to Lin. "Lin we've told you before you can't throw sand in people eyes" katara scolded
"but, but I was protecting Princess kya" Lin said with her bottom lip out like she was gonna cry.
"I think tenzin wanted to be the one protecting you he didn't wanna be the evil witch" katara said calmly.
"but he is evil though, he didn't let me be the knight" Lin said almost crying
"just because you disagree dosn't mean he's evil"
"I- I'm sorry" Lin said bawling now. Kya got up from where she was sitting and hugged Lin.
"Its ok lin you did a very good job of protecting me" Kya said and kissed gthe top of Lins head.
"realy?" lin asked wiping her tears
"yes very good, but you gotta remember to not throw sand in peoples eyes its not nice" kya scolded lightly as katra walked away smiling at the girls interaction.
"otay can we go back to practicing our bendings. I wanna be better than my mama" Lin smiled proudly
"sure" Kya smiled
