My coffee and I

That day I saw your smile

 I promised to see it my whole life,

But where are you?

We promised to walk through the noon

Though there won't be any soon,

I remember it like yesterday

Although my eyes can only see tomorrow,

Those happy times...

Believe me, they are everything but lies,

 Remember how much you liked those donuts

But you gave them away to others,

And it made me sigh

Cause I know you wanted to try,

And I could never leave you blue

So I bought them again for you,

You should have seen your eyes

Eating donuts though they always shine,

It made me realize how much I liked

And you surely would have known, right?

That I also wanted a bite,

But did I like the donuts?

And I forgot to tell this line

That you will always be my coffee

And I will be the donut you like
