Best Friends - Jasper Hale

Chapter 6

AVA'S POV
After we kissed each other's cheek we went into the classroom.

I was behind Jasper so the teacher couldn't see me because Jasper was blocking me. "Mr.Hale why were you late"

Jasper moved out the way and the teacher looked at me. "Oh I see thank you for helping Ms.Swan to class. Can you tell us about yourself miss" I smiled at Jasper and he went to sit down in a seat at the back of the class.

"Hi my name is Avalon Swan. I used to live in Phoenix but moved here to live with my dad. I'm 16 years old because I skipped a grade in 5th grade. My favorite color(s) are red, blue, and black. And my favorite meal is curry goat or oxtail with rice and peas" I said.

Everyone smiled even Jasper and said hellos.

After my introduction the teacher, which I now know as Mr.Johnson, told me to sit with Jasper. I smiled at Jasper as I sat down.

During the whole class period we talked with each other quietly and got to know each other more. Sometimes we got caught talking and Mr.Johnson would call us out and ask us to answer a difficult question which we always get right.

After class was over I was packing up and Jasper asked with a smile, "Can I walk you to class ma'am"

I put my finger under my chin as if I was thinking about the answer. "Yes you may kind sir" he smiled because he was happy you said yes.

As we walked through the halls together talking and laughing everyone was looking at us with shock. I didn't know why and I didn't care because I was enjoying talking to Jasper.

How did she get Jasper to laugh I couldn't even see him talking? Everyone wondered.

Me and Jasper arrived to the classroom and sat down.
