Chapter 9

AVA'S POV
During art me, Alice, and Athena were still talking but we didn't make it obvious this time like me and Jasper did.

Class was over and we were packing up our stuff to go to the last class of the day when Alice and Athena walked up to me. "Jasper's outside so we're gonna go to 6th period." We smiled and hugged each other goodbye.

I left the classroom and saw Jasper right by the door. "Hey Jasper." I said and hugged him while kissing his cheek like we did before and he did the same to me.

"Hey darling." I looked up at him in shock.

"Hey is that my nickname now?" I asked with a sly smile.

He looked down at me while still hugging me and said "yea if that's ok with you, you can also give me a nickname."

While my hands were around his waist, I put my hand under my chin like I was thinking. "Well how about baby or bubba?" I asked with a bright smile on my face.

He looked happy with the nicknames. "You can call me both, I like them." He said with his southern accent which made me smile and blush a little.

After deciding on our nicknames for each other Jasper put his arm around my shoulder again and we walked to 6th period and like before everyone seemed shock by what they saw. I just know this is gonna stir up a rumor because this is a small town and everyone knows everyone's business. But I didn't care because it's me and Jasper's business not theirs.

We arrived, and after introducing myself I sat beside Jasper while everyone was staring at us again. When I sat down, Jasper intertwined our hands together in his lap and laid his head on my shoulder like he was gonna sleep, but I knew he wasn't gonna.

During class, we kept our hands intertwined and his head on my shoulder but we didn't speak we just enjoyed the silence, well as much silence there is when your in a classroom full of students and a teacher.
