-Percy Jackson first person, unless stated otherwise-

Themes of anxiety. ADHD stuff throughout the whole book.

That's it. Enjoy!

My 19th birthday, Annabeth and I's anniversary, the day we defeated Kronos and Luke died. Today was a busy day, so many things have happened on August 18th, and that was only in my life.

I couldn't believe my luck also because I hadn't failed at this whole college thing yet. I had made it through the first year of studying Marine/Aquatic Biology, three more to go.

Yay! Three more years of school, I love school. Honestly, I didn't want to stay at school for three more years, but at least in New Rome I didn't need to worry about monsters, and if I did see a monster I wouldn't have to make up any excuse. It did help that ADHD wasn't uncommon in demigods or their descendants so the classes were very good about that.

However, Romans are a lot stricter, and I had to learn Latin. Latin people, you know how many times my teacher slipped into Latin asked me a question and I responded with.

"Είμαι Έλληνας, τι είπες ο Άδης;" Which translates to "I'm greek, what the Hades did you just say?" Which they didn't understand so they switched back to English after a moment and apologized for not realizing that the greek demigod didn't speak the roman language.

Now I can say, "Modo quod Latine loquor non significat cerebrum meum tractare te loqui nonaginta milium per hora" Which basically just says "Just because I speak Latin doesn't mean my brain can handle you speaking ninety miles per hour"

It was a fun first trimester.

I can say however that being the son of the sea god does give you top marks in Marine/Aquatic Biology, especially when you can just dive into the ocean and talk to the creatures for your essay.

Now where was I? Right, Happy 19th Birthday to me! Annabeth and I were going on a date as soon as she got back from the library where, even though it was the summer, she was still studying and learning.

I was glad to spend the day with her, we had experienced all sorts of ups and downs over the years. Since we only dated for three months before the giant war and we didn't have much time together with the aftermath and I had to catch up with school. Then she had to go look for her cousin, her cousin died, her cousin turned out to be a Norse demigod and now lived in Valhalla. I got a head cold bringing Apollo and Meg to Camp Half-Blood when he turned mortal. This year was the first year we spent without having any myths jump out of a book and attack us.

She had been going to the library more often recently, but I chalked that down to since it was hot and summery outside no one would bother her inside.

She left after lunch and said I should pick her up at 7 that night. I gave her a kiss on her forehead, when she left without returning it my stomach knotted up.

I was just nervous, we hadn't had a real date in forever, and we'd be going out of New Rome and to San Francisco, I was just nervous about having to deal with monsters.

6:45 and I texted Annabeth that I was on my way to pick her up. I dressed casually, we weren't going anywhere fancy, and if we did get attacked it was easier to fight and not worry about destroying your clothes.

Annabeth didn't answer. She's just getting ready, over-preparing, you know how she is.

When I knocked on the door her roommate opened up, she looked worried.

"Hey Percy, Annabeth isn't here, maybe she lost track of time?" She shrugged. I frowned and nodded. Annabeth losing track of time doesn't seem like her, but if she's studying and found something interesting then maybe. Yeah Percy, she just found something interesting. Maybe she even got sidetracked at the bookstore with Ella and Tyson.

"Thanks, I'll go find her, don't worry about it, it happens sometimes," I smile back at the girl before heading off. She seems concerned, lingering in the doorway as I walk away.

Like she knew what was going to happen.

.....Hey, the author here, thanks for reading this. Tell me how you like the story so I can improve and do my best to give you an amazing story.

Unless you don't want to. That's okay.

If I don't do something you asked for or did something you didn't it's because this is still my story and I can do what I want.

.....This got strange......ANyWaY, Thank you for reading!

you already said that.

I'm double thanking.

I hope you enjoyed it, and umm.....that's it.

I'll get the next part out the Sunday a week after I post this.

Sooooo.... see you there. Maybe. If you enjoyed.

I'm gonna stop talking.
