Jazmine Sullivan's, A Girl Like Me played in the background as i added the finishing touches to my outfit. I had changed my outfit TWICE because i felt like i wasnt dressy enough for the occasion. Ik we said light, but still it is a birthday dinner. Can't half step, especially when i know specialguest will be there. Teá actually picked this fit out for me.
"Rife's going to love it" she said admiring the work she had done
"You dont think its a little too much?" I asked examining myself as well
No doubt a bitch looked goodt, but i just didnt wanna over do it, you know.
" You look great." Teá said brushing off my concerns
"You think so?" I asked
"Almost edible" she shot back
"Ooou don't tell me that" i joked applying some lip gloss
"Pink or white?" She asked coming out of my closet
" uhm pink" i said still fixing myself in the mirror
"Pink it is" Teá said handing me a pair of pink heels from my closet
I sat on my bench putting them both on, immediately loving the color combos we had thrown together.
"Okayyyyy, bitch you better get you some" she said hyping me up
"Shutup" i laughed
Crystal👭💙: on the way & i have to tell you something
"Crystal's on the way, you ready?" I asked Tea
"Yes maaam. Let me just brush these lashes" she said using her spooly
I nodded texting Crystal back.
ME: We're ready. Tell me what?
She didnt respond. I HATE when she do this. She knows how bad my anxiety is. A few minutes later she pulled up and we all took in each other's looks. My friends are BAD.
"A ugly hoe could never" i said motioning my hand under my chin

We pulled up to the restaurant a little early. We all wanted to be there before Sharife and Omar just to make sure the reservation and everything was situated.
"Hold on we gotta take some pictures first, cause i aint gone look the same once that liquor get into me" Teá said
"Agreed" both Crystal and I said at the same time
We all took turns taking each other's pictures before heading in the restaurant.
