Mason and I walked up to Julian's small tent at the corner of the barbed fencing. Mason stepped up toward the tent entrance and knocked on the flimsy door. "Julian! Doven needs us in his tent now!"
Julian acknowledged him with a groan. "Why?"
"He didn't say, just come on," I put in quickly.
The tent door unzipped and Julian stepped out in different clothes then he was wearing before, and a bundle of dirty clothes in his arms. "Fine," he grumbled "I need to drop these of in the clothes heap anyway.

Julian, Mason, and I stepped into the leader's large tent.
"Good," smiled Doven "You are all here. I have a specific job for you three. Martie nor his partner David have returned from Food Market. They may have been bitten, or they may be coming back right now. I need you guys to go down to Food Market on a half supply run, and half rescue mission. Understood?"
"Yes sir!" We said in unison.
"Good, you will leave immediately. Take a weapon, I hope to see you soon."

"Follow me!" Mason was leading the way down to Food Market when a horde of biters came out of the close by brush. I swung my hatchet at the nearest biter's head, causing a sickening cracking sound and dark blood to erupt all over my weapon and the snow on the ground. Julian kicked another, causing the biter's skin to peel of easily, and nocking it to the ground. Julien swiftly rose his foot above its head and smashed it's skull, not even pulling out his weapon. Mason took on the other three with his spear, dodging their grasping hands and stabbing them all in the head with one quick motion.
I wiped the small sweat off my brow and made sure everyone was alright.
"Five biters all at the same time?" Julian exclaimed, "I haven't seen that may together in a long time."
Mason nodded in agreement. "There must be a lot of them, I hope Martie and David are alright."
I wiped the remaining blood off my hatchet and continued on the trail down to Food Market.
*****
We all arrived at Food Market. But not to what we thought we would see.
Biters, lurkers, and bloaters surrounded the super market, inside and out.
"Oh my god." Were the only words that escaped my mouth.
"How are we supposed to get through all of these biters?" Mason questioned.
"I have an idea," Julian quickly answered. He quickly took the lead and crouched in the bushes around the back of the building.
