"Are you ready to order?" I asked the old couple sitting in the two seats. They seemed to be in their 60's and married
The woman was supporting a warm smile on her wrinkled face. All her short hair a beautiful light gray as she tucked a piece behind her ear
"Yes-" before she could continue the bearded man cut her off
"No. I want a new waiter" his voice full of disgust as he looked me up and down
I furrowed my eyebrows
"Honey don't do this. Just order" The woman pleaded
"I am not letting this disgusting black nig-"
"I want you to say it. Go ahead" i growled, getting all in his face
Now I am putting my job in jeopardy but no way in hell was I gonna let this white man sit here and be this disrespectful to me in my face
"Get out of my face!" he shouted causing people to look over
"Chad, stop please" she cried but he ignored her, glaring at me instead
I was going to respond but I heard the voice of my boss, stopping me from going off on him
"What seems to be the problem here?" Liam asked
The man known as 'Chad' scoffed, "You're black too? Whats the matter with all these blacks here!"
My boss looked taken aback, "I'm actually mixed with white and black. I'm sorry sir but we don't condemned racism here in my restaurant. I'm going to have to ask you to leave" Liam said, clasping his hands together
Chad scoffed again. "You can't put me out! Us white men are the reason your store is famous. If it werent for us coming in to buy your food then you wouldnt even have this place. Lord knows blacks can't afford something like this"
Half of the restaurant gasped. I looked around. It was more colored people in here then uncolored
"First off, your wrong. Educate yourself before walking in here and spitting out useless, incorrect words. Second off, if you don't leave the security will have to escort you out. Forcefully" I said and rolled my eyes
"He cant do anything!" he shouted, standing up
The woman stood up too, looking angrier then ever. Her face was a dark shade of red
"CHAD! I have had enough of this! You will apologize to this nice young lady that has beautiful skin and you will also apologize to her boss" she yelled
Damn
The people in the restaurant let out 'ooohhh' while i snickered at how he put his head down like a little boy that got caught stealing cookies
"Sorry" he muttered
"They couldnt hear you" the lady said with a glare
"I said im sorry" his ears turned red as he walked away fastly
The woman sighed and smiled warmingly at us. "Im so so sorry for the inconvenience. I didnt know he would act that way. You both are gorgeous and handsome with a beautiful skin color" she grabbed our hands and rubbed her thumb over our knuckles, "Actually- here is 100 dollars for your service. Again, i am so so so sorry"
She gave us the money before quickly walking away, we watched her in silence when suddenly the whole room erupted into claps.
I smiled and turned to Liam, he was also smiling
To be honest, i thought she was going to make up some shitty excuse for his behavior. What a nice old lady...
