//Authors Note: So, this is more or less a bit of an apology, I guess? I don't really have anything serious to apologize about- but I will say my last fiction was deleted already. I started it off in a dissatisfying way, and decided it is inadequate to be kept around. I didn't necessarily recieve criticism- but I did get the message. I can do better- and I have done better. I hope I can accomplish that with this story.//
//FootNote: I am not used to recieving comments that I don't know how to feel about. However, to everyone that commented on the story that is now deleted, I do respect your points of view on it, and I will also be a first to say that I could have started it out a lot better than I had. As a compensation- I am revamping an old- unposted idea- and moving forward with it. Going steadily, with a less bumpy start- hopefully. //
//Last Note: Please, still share your thoughts and feelings. Even if they are negative. Even if you like my other works, you don't have to sit silently when you think something is poorly done. Call me out on bullshit, and low effort, as an Author, I am obligated to try and make myself better, and listen to the people who read my content. That way they can continue to enjoy my content.//

In a kingdom, settled in a lush forest- a bunch of antsy cookies ran about within the gates- chattering with each other as they seemed to be celebrating an event of victory. Streamers were sprawn over the lamposts, and confetti poppres went off every manual interval. Cheering could be heard as some cookies crowded in what appeared to be the town square.
"Happy Birthday Mango Cookieeee!" the loud cheering continued as several of the more social cookies crowded around, offering their gifts to the young teen.
((I couldn't find what age Mango Cookie was, so I am settling with him being 14-15 in this fic))
The Mango Themed Islander cookie accepted them all, saying a 'thank you' to those he had gotten gifts from. The teen was enjoying himself, despite his somewhat lazy expression- he felt extremely energized and elated due to the days events.
Gingerbrave handed over his gift after Princess had presented hers. He also chered and clapped as his own gift was being opened .
"Thank you very much! I love it!" the chatterbox cookie clasped his hands together as he closed his eyes a bit. Within the box, there was a small bandana with patterns on it- as well as a couple other things- like colored trinkets- as well as a few blue sugar crystals. The mango themed cookie could not help himself, he started to chatter away.
"This is the best birthday I have had in a while- it reminds me of the time that-" Mango cookie started to speak in a long line of words as he jumped from one topic to the next, enjoying himself. Everyone tolorated it for a little while, laughing a bit as the birthday boy got all of the emotions out of his system.
Soon, though, knight cookie interjected. "Alright there, speed racer. We love hearing your stories. However, it is already late, and we need to get to bed for our preperations tomorrow." the man's tone was soft as he laughed a little bit- thinking back to when he had first met the child. He and Princess Cookie had visited the Tropical Soda islands- and who was there to greet them- but the friendly chatterbox.
Gingerbrave watched as several of the other cookies started to get up, stepping away from the tables. He grabbed sugar paper used to wrap the gifts for Mango cookie, stuffing them into a bag as he looked around the fenced in town square.
Ensuring that he picked up all of the loose scraps, he noticed that quite a few of the other cookies were still around. Several of them talking in pairs, or small groups as they hung out near the fountain, or the outside of Sparkling Cookie's Bar.
Some time passed- the child was unsure of how much time had went by, all he knew was that he was entertained. Scenarios playing in his head as he daydreamt up idea, after idea. It was fun- for the most part- save for when he let his mind stray too far away from his task at hand.
Humming a bit, and bopping his head to some unheard tune- the blue eyed cookie continued to enjoy his task.
"Good Evening, Gingerbrave. I see you are still busy with cleaning." A soft, masculine voice sounded from behind the child, causing the Brave Cookie to jummp a bit due to the sudden intrusion into his own thoughts and personal space. "Oh- I apologize. Did I catch you off guard?"
"No..! Uh- well, sort of. It's fine." Gingerbrave laughs a bit, before shaking his head, and bringing the trash bag closer to himself. "I probably needed to be snapped out of it anyways. I was gonna start dancing around, the more I thought about the tune I was hearing."
Pure Vanilla laughed a little at the thought of seeing the child dancing around- despite there not being any music actively being played. After that, though, the man walks over, and picks up a trash-bag from the nearby box.
"I see. I suppose it might had been a good thing then." Pure Vanilla started to speak, bending down to pick up a few straggling pieces of edible paper- before placing them into the disposal tool. "Even so- I wanted to say that you did a great job planning this event." he ancient cookie smiled, before tapping his flower staff down on the ground- the objects blinking playfully.
"I did?" the child seemed a littel stunned, however, those emotions were dropped for more of a sense of personal accomplishment and pride at the compliment. "I am glad you think so! I am not used to planning parties on my own- Princess Cookie usually does that... haha." the child laughed a bit more.
"Indeed you did." finishing putting some more wrappings into the disposal bag, Pure Vanilla ties it shut, before offering a hand out, to take the other couple of bags full of wrappings from the child. "Here- let me help you. You did quite a bit of work today."
"Are you sure? I can deal with it- the disposal area isn't too far away from here- there is nothing to worry about..!" Gingerbrave smiled a bit, before bringing the bags closer, and looking to the left- where the disposal bins rested near a couple buildings used for utlilities and other smaller needs. "Yeah, not too far." he reconfirmed with himself.
"I insist. You look a little drained. You should get some rest-" the man continued to smile down to Brave Cookie, a small sugar sheep bleatinng from right next to the soft-palleted ancient. "Besides- I need to pass by there anyhow. I must ensure that Custard is tucked into bed- then turn in for some rest myself."
Considering the options, Gingerbrave nodded a little, with a slight hesitance. He didn't really want to make someone else to his work- this all was his plan- after all. However, it would be even more rude to deny someone insiting on helping him- or just as bad- at least.
"Alright. Thank you, Mr. Vanilla." Gingerbrave smied a little, handing over the disposings that he had previously been handling.
"It is no trouble at all, young one. Now- perhaps you should head off to rest yourself- it is quite late. Plenty of rest is good for you- especially of growing cookies- such as yourselves." The blonde haired man started to walk off, the sheep following him as he made his way in the direction of the disposal area.
Turning around himself- Gingerbrave starts to walk in the direction of his own home- which was a little ways away from the center of town. Rather- it was a bit away from everyone's own houses. Gingerbrave made sure it was set up that way- as he was quite loud at night- namely with small waves of panic- and moderate nightmares here and there.
Tapping his cane on the ground, the boy brings his arms up behind his head- before strolling off in the direction he needed to go- the night air was clear, and crisp. Relaxing. Everything was so calm, and peaceful. It was nice nights like these that Gingerbrave appreciated the most.
They helped him to relax, and appreciate some of the smaller things in life.
"Today was a great day..." he closed his eyes, an even more broad smile spread over his face.
Continuing his stride- he walks down the alleyway- approaching the direction of his house.
