The sunlight crept into the room through the opened curtains. Landing directly on two sleeping teenagers. Both were tangled with one another, holding the other tightly. It was as if they were scared the other would disappear if they let go. The blanket was only over the girl as the male seemed to move too much in his sleep. Suddenly, as if the sun itself was his energy he opened his eyes. Not a hint of tiredness was traceable in his face.
Peter scanned the room and smiled. It looked different in the light. More alive and bright than sad and dark. Peter looked to the door to see a small note on it. It seemed that it was from the adult. Peter rolled his eyes and tried to move his arm. However, he couldn't, something or someone was stopping it from moving. He looked to the side and smiled. It was an automatic response for him. The reason for this pure smile was the other teen. The other teen was someone that he would fight anyone and anything for.
Savannah. She was sleeping soundly curled up to Peter's side and hid his arm under her's. Her hair was not perfect anymore but messy. Her eyes were closed as she slept soundly. She seemed to not have a care in the world. It was as if her world wasn't going to end tomorrow. That it would stop turning the moment she was taken from London. From him, her new world that she just discovered.
Peter moved her hair behind her ear and smiled. He looked at her with so much admiration and something, not even I can identify in his eyes. It was bright but dark like he was planning something that no one could ever know. Not even if they could see his thoughts could figure it out. Savannah moved as the sun reached her eyes. She tried to hide her face in Peter's chest but he moved. " Sav, you need to wake up. Remember it's Monday. " Savannah opened her eyes barely and mumbled. " I want to stay with you. " Peter smiled and wrapped his arms around her forcing her to sit up.
" Remember you lost hide and seek. " Savannah did know what he meant as she tried to rest her head on his shoulder. Peter chuckled lightly at this and said. " You have to do everything I saw today. " Savannah nodded and Peter smiled. He grabbed her and placed her at the edge of the bed. Peter handed her a bottle of water and said. " I will pick out your clothes for today okay? " Savannah nodded and opened the water.
Peter walked towards the closet and opened it. There were a lot of dresses and corsets. Pretty blue ones, leafy green, sunset yellow, and so much more. It was obvious that she didn't pick out these clothes. Peter grabbed the leafy green and dark green dresses. The top of the leafy green was white with full sleeves. Off of the shoulders with a dark green almost black ribbon. The skirt had a leafy green base with dark green tulle. The dress ends right below the ankles but wasn't puffy. It was flowy so she could move in it. Peter then looked at the dark green one. It had a black collar top with ruffles down the front. A black ribbon at the waist with a dark green skirt. That also ends right below the ankles but it was more layered. It was thicker than the leafy green one.
Peter placed the dark green one back and grabbed black mary-janes for shoes. Peter looked at Savannah who had moved to the window and looked at the view. Peter placed the dress on the bed and the shoes on her floor. Peter walked over with a smile. " I got your outfit for the day! "Savannah turned to him and smiled. " Okay, I'll go change now. " Savannah then paused and looked at Peter. He was wearing his green shirt and black trousers that he seemed to wear every time she sees him. " Peter, I believe I may have some of my cousin's clothes that you could wear. " Peter shook his head and smiled. '' No, I am fine. I changed before I came last night. " Savannah nodded knowing that she couldn't do anything to change his mind. She grabbed the dress and shoes silently. She grabbed a few other things from drawers and exited the room.
Peter grabbed his shoes and placed them on. He then looked at the sky and muttered. " It's too soon. " No one heard him as they were changing or cooking. Peter looked at the trunk filled with clothes other than the few dresses in the closet. Peter frowned as he saw that the sun was hiding behind some houses. It was still early in the morning about the time school would start. Peter was about the walk to the door when Savannah walked in. She had her hair in a bun and her ribbon was on in her hands. A blush was forming on her face as she whispered. " Peter, can you tie this? " Peter nodded as his own blush formed on his face.
