I always heard that before they left, sometimes I pretended that it was their way of saying "I love you" to me even though that wasn't the case. Right after that, I'd get my speaker and blast it through the house while cleaning it was the most relaxing part of my day after school. Then they would eventually come back, and I would do it all over again.

"Wake up I don't have all day" I heard my mom say as she walked out of my room. I was happy she started leaving the room after she realized I was awake.
"it's cold," I told myself as I slowly got out of bed feeling myself finally starting to feel awake, today was Monday. another day of school, and another day I would be away from my room. which I loved so much. But then I realized something.
I didn't have caramel.
I didn't have time for this, my mom was already getting mad at me for not being out of the room already and it was 7:10. But caramel was way more important than school right now. I got up and started frantically looking for her as if my life depended on it. Because it did, she was the only stuffy my parents let me get. Even though it was my own money.
But after 5 minutes I finally saw and felt huge relief flow through me and got that warm feeling in my tummy. I felt a bunch of happy tears fall and gave her a big hug.
"Sorry I left you there all alone you must have been scared caramel, but I have to get ready or i might just get burned from the witch," I said as i gently placed her on my bed and ran to the bathroom to get ready.

After I felt like I looked good enough I did my hair.
"I'm ready I just need to eat breakfast then ill leave I won't take long I promise," I told my mom while running out of my room. I lied about the eating part I don't usually eat breakfast but I just wanted to leave her to me alone for a while. Then I grabbed my backpack and watched my fav show strawberry shortcake while getting ready to go because why not, especially when you're alone.
"I almost forgot"! I said as I ran to my room to grab caramel, Just in case, I tell myself Just in case.
"HEY NOURA" I heard someone familiar say as I walked through the gates of my school.
"ANDREA,"! I said as I ran to my friend.

"what are you going to say," I said feeling skeptical
"How is it going with that boy," she said referring to the person that asked me out a couple of days ago. I thought I should have said yes but caramel told me not to so I said no.
