Y/n pov:

I was walking in the park with me and Joe's 4 year old son isaac when this random dude in a Matthew Stafford jersey on came up to us.

"Hows your worthless husband doing,hes not even a good football player my grandma plays better,and shes DEAD. That just proves you and you and your stupid family are nothing!"

I hid isaac behind me while I tried backing away from him

"Where the hell are you going dumb whore I'm not done talking to you!" He said getting more aggressive and a but more physical he grabbed my arm to try to stop me from leaving,he smelt like a bar,he was obviously drunk

"Please leave us alone."I said in a calm voice trying to not cause a scene in front of all of the people at the park

"Why should I i haven't done anything wrong,I'm just having a SIMPLE CONVERSATION WITH YOU,DO YOU HAVE SOMETHING AGAINST PEOPLE WHO LIKE DIFFERENT TEAMS THATS DISGUSTING, YOUR NOT EVEN IMPORTANT I WOULDNT BE SUPRISED IF JOE LEFT YOU STUPID ASS!" He said getting closer and closer

at this point isaac was crying and holding on to me very tightly"i haven't done anything to you so leave us alone,you are scaring my 4 year old, and dont touch me!"I said a bit louder

He looked at me in shock as I picked isaac up and started running away from him and back home.
I slammed the door shut as soon as I got home.

Joe was still at practice so I took isaac to the bathroom to get him cleaned up, he was still a but scared but he was fine

I told home he couldn't tell his dad, because joe would not be happy but he wouldnt like if I didnt tell him more but i didnt want to cause any more problems

Joe's pov;
I got done with practice and started driving home,when I got home I heard y/n talking to isaac I started walking towards the kitchen to were they were

Y/n was making isaac a peanut butter and jelly sandwich (Isaac's favorite)
"Hey y/n/n, what are my two favorite people up to?" I said while giving isaac a hug then walking over to y/n.

I put my chin on y/n's shoulder while hugging her from behind"nothin' much we just got back from the park a little bit ago so isaac is hungry I might make myself a sandwich now thinking about it." Y/n said looking everywhere but my face

I said ok then I stood next to the counter while y/n was making herself a sandwich,I noticed a dark red mark around her wrist "hey y/n?"I said with a curious tone
"Yeah?" She said looking at me

"What's that on your wrist?"I said grabbing her wrist and looking at it "OH uhm ...that's from isaac we were playing and he grabbed my arm a but to hard!" She said hesitantly grabbing her arm away from me and continued making her sandwich

I looked at isaac who immediately looked away from me when I looked at him
What the hell is going on with them?
I thought before turning around and walking to my office to read some emails and do some work

*Time skip to 9:53 pm*
I was scrolling throughout my twitter feed and came across a video I was tagged in,so I clicked on it hesitantly

*I'm to lazy to make the video sound and shit so imagine what happened at the park*

WHAT THE HELL IS THIS!

When the video was over I ran upstairs to me and y/n's bedroom
"Y/N WHAT THE HELL IS THIS!" I yelled showing her the video
"Joe I was gonna-"
"NO THATS BULLSHIT WHY THE HELL DIDNT YOU TELL ME THAT SOME GUY HARASSED YOU GUYS! IS THIS WHY YOU WERE ACTING SO WIERD THIS AFTERNOON AND WHAT THAT MARK ON YOUR WRIST REALLY IS"i cut her off by yelling

She started sobbing uncontrollably and she fell into my arms "joe,I'm sorry! i didnt want to tell you because you would react like this, I didnt want to cause any trouble." She said still crying in to my chest

I rubbed her back and told her "hey,hey,hey its ok i get why you didnt tell me, it's ok."
"I really am sorry joe,but isaac was really scared and I didnt want to escalate the situation even more." Y/n said pulling away from me

"Hey I get that,it ok,why dont you go and take a bath I'll put on a movie for when your done." I said guiding her to the master bathroom, I went into our closet and got her a pair of sweatpants and one of my hoodies and some underwear for when shes done

"Thanks joe." Y/n said while taking her clothes off to take a bath,I started the water and got her some water to help her throat after her crying.

"No problem y/n/n,now you can relax I'll put some music on and you can relax for a bit, you had a long day." I said rubbing her shoulders and upper back to calm her down

*time skip to 11:23 pm*

After y/n's bath, I put on "the adam project" on netflix "thank you for everything joe." Y/n whispered as the movie started "your welcome,if something like that ever happens ever again let me know,I'll handle it."I said pulling her into my arms "sleep well y/n." I said kissing her forehead
"You too joey."

This was a cute one the part when she ran away from that dude made me wheeze tho it was fucking hilarious
