Joe's pov:

"Joe,joe can you tell us about your win against Kansas city tonight?"
One of the reporters said eagerly

"It was great,the team played really well and I'm proud of these guys and hie far we've come." I said about 4 seconds later

but then the next reporter said something I was most definitely not expecting to hear

"How is y/n after her accident tonight."

What,she got hurt! WHY WASNT I INFORMED!

"What do you mean y/n got hurt, why didnt anyone tell me she was hurt,what's going on!" I responded very pissed off

"Joe,man calm down I bet shes fine." Ja'marr said in my ear,I didnt say anything else I just got up and left.
I grabbed my bags and immediately went out my car.

Y/n pov:
I play softball at lsu, it's my last year in college so I'm excited for this season.
today is my first game so I'm a bit nervous but I know Joe's rooting for me so it's all ok

*skip to the game*
Bases are loaded I'm up to bat just one hit and then someone comes into home and we win
.......
I stepped up to the plate with my bat in hand.i stare the pitcher right in the eye and watch her start to throw the ball.

I watched the ball is it leapt out of her hand and it was coming straight for me..but not over the plate,it was going straight for my head

Before I had enough time to move the ball had hit me really hard my helmet came off and I was on the ground,I could barely breathe as I was surrounded by players and coaches

They lifted me up after a few minutes and put me in the ambulance I could see blood in the dirt...alot of blood,next thing I know I had passed out

Joe's pov:

I rushed to the ER after I got a text from
Y/N's coach saying that is were she was

I parked the car and ran inside,"uhm hi I need to know if y/n y/l/n is"i said to the receptionist
,"relation to the patient?"she said back
"I'm her boyfriend."
"Ok shes in room 539 on the 3rd floor." The old lady said looking at her computer "alright thank you." I said as I rushed to the elevator and pressed the up button

As the door opened up I ran in and pressed the button with the number 3 on it, as the elevator came to a stop,the doors opened and I ran out

I looked at the sign that said 530-540
And i ran in that direction,as I came to her doors i knocked lightly "come in."I hear a weak voice say
I open the door and walk in

There i saw it, y/n with a black eye and a bruised nose that looked pretty bad and y/n laying there looking tired and sad,she looked up with pain in her eyes and I walked over to her

"Hey,what happend to you"i said sympathetically
"I got hit with the ball really hard in the head."
She said looking like she wanted to cry "I cant play for the rest of the season ."
She continued
"I'm so sorry y/n/n,I know how excited you were for you last season with lsu." I said walking over to her and giving her a light hug.

Y/n pov:

I returned Joe's hug and held on to his hand as my eyes stared to water as I held onto him.

The docter opened to door "hello mrs. Y/n, how are you doing?" He said putting a clip board and a file down on a table "I'm okay."I responded "good,good so you have a minor concussion, you will be able to leave in about an hour" He said grabbing a stethoscope and taking a look at her

"Oh uhm alright I guess."

*1 hour later*

I finally get cleared to leave the hospital,as we are leaving joe looked at me and just hugged me"i was worried about you,I had no clue until I was at the press conference after the game that you had gotten hurt." Joe said while letting go of me to open the car door

"Its ok joe,you were busy I dont blame you thought I bet the 'paparazzi' made it alot worse than it really is." I said laughing. We got in the car and drove home.

This is a short one but I didnt have enough energy to make this really good 😂😂 this was a request from someone but for some reason I'm not aloud to tag them,every time I do it exits me out of wattpad and doesnt save my work. If yall have anymore request let me know I'll be more than happy to do them,I do any type of story (only a little bit of smut is aloud).
