"Alright so all infor-"

"Yes Florence. All the information about my trip is contained within this document, we went over this!" Lulu let out exasperated.

"You know I appreciate your work, Lulu." Florence complemented. "But I need all viable information as true as can be!"

"I'm aware of that fact! Which is why I crossed all the information I received from witnesses with scripts from their royal library." She informed the older man. "All the information about the peace treaty between the shapeshifters and the Latican Sirens are from the Monarchy themselves."

"Alright, I'll look through all of this" he picked up the folder. "Feel free to take a break, God knows you need it. Now that we know the shapeshifters aren't hostile, I'll send over Zeek to gather other key details. See you in a while, Lu."

With that, the graying person walked out of the small, loud cafe, leaving her to ponder in her thoughts. A break does sound nice right now, she could do so many things she never got the chance to.

First day of her summer holiday and  we find Lulu inside, staring at the wooden ceiling. She has been looking at the ceiling for hours on end, having already mapped out each discolouration of the wood and the weird little shapes they made. She focused in on one specifically, a duck looking shape that she had decided to call Benson.

She wished she hadn't sped through her chores or her baking. It took her 4 hours to deep clean her whole house, all of her blankets and pillows were outside drying. She also went to the store made bread and baked a cake, after which she made dinner for herself. She began dosing off, until a quiet 'ding' emitted from her phone.

Hello :3

How are you, this fine day?
(See i used smart words)

I am doing just peachy
(I noticed. Good job!)

I have a full week of
holiday leave from my
job and nothing to do :(

Omg! We should totaly
hang out!

I only work part-time
so we could totally
just spend some time together.

We could do like a
mini staycation?

Y'know, I stay at your
house or vice versa.

Yes! WE SHOULD
TOTALLY DO THAT!
Your house probably
makes more sense cuz
its right beside the ocean

Okay when are we starting?

I have a day off tomorrow,
so we can do it then.

The two set up the time before bidding each other farewell for the afternoon. Lulu was left pondering, she thought tomorrow was a bit too soon but considering she only had a week...

She got up from her lying position and grabbed her laptop. She opened up a google sheets before writing up a timetable. She then printed off a physical copy of the timetable for herself. If she was going to hang out with her crush, then she was going to make the most of it.

She checked through her cupboards and fridge, and frowned. Despite having gone to the store earlier, there was pratically nothing to eat. This was due to the fact that she was too focused on baking than actual food. Writing a list of products she would need and then doubling it for her upcoming guest, she set out to the store for her last minute shopping trip.

The door of the cabin flung open to reveal Lulu carrying multiple bags in both hands. She wanted to bring everything in one trip rather than two but as soon as her foot stepped through the doorway, a couple of the bags tumbled out of her arms and onto the floor. Setting the bags that were still in her arms down in the kitchen, she went after the 2 she dropped by the door, closing the door before returning back to the kitchen. Sorting through the products, she slowly organised everything into their proper places. When she finished Lulu leaned against the counter, seemingly waiting for something.

Suddenly she remembered the blankets and pillows drying outside in the summer breeze. Making her way out the door she walked out back to find her drying line. It was simply string stuck to the side of her house, stretching out to a random pole in the middle of her grassy patch. It wasn't the prettiest setup, but it was enough for her and that is all that mattered. Slowly, Lulu made her way to her blankets, folding them, before moving onto the pillows.

She stacked all the laundary and slowly, to not drop them, made her way into the house. She dropped the stuff onto her clean floor and opened her closet before promptly stuffing everything inside.

This was going to be the best staycation ever, if it's the last thing she ever does...
