Anyway, I was bored and decided to try out a new artstyle!

I did Tokyo Ghoul, it didn't work out.

Iwatobi Swim Club/Free!, not so much...abs are hard to draw—

Pokemon, well, I tried but failed.

THEN

I came across Professor Layton.

I have the 3DS game, Professor Layton and the Azran Legacy (haven't finished it yet though ; H ;) and suddenly it snapped in me.

The artstyle is easy yet difficult to master. Why? It looks so simple!

Well, it has a little anime feel to it and a splash of cartoons. It's hard to make dots on an anime face look appealing, y'know ; o 7 o

I tested it on Lil' Norge here because why not XD
