Valt glanced at the blonde male in surprise. He could see a troubled look on Free's face. Before he could ask something, the albino beside him said, "What's dark magic?" Curiosity was the thing that could be heard in his voice. Free glanced at his hands and activated his magic.

"Magic is an art. But deep inside, there's a dark side. At first, along with learning magic, the students are also told about dark magic. It was stopped after the incident in the Underworld. Dark magic is the dark side of magic. In the eyes of magicians' laws, it's a crime. Dark magic holds destructive powers. However, during the incident of the Underworld, many magicians used dark magic. Many of them even died." He explained.

"But why did they all use dark magic?" Valt questioned.

"Underworld is a place from which no one can leave. That place was deliberately made so that no criminal could come out. Even magic can't get out of that place, but dark magic is different. Powerful than ordinary magic." Free said, "People learned dark magic so that they could bring out people trapped in the Underworld, but dark magic harms the user. That is why using dark magic is equivalent to a crime." For Valt, he somehow felt unfair to the people in Underworld. When someone commits a crime, they are punished, but it is not right to put their lives in danger. It's like someone threw you into hell while you were alive.

"Means for so many years, no one knows what is going on in the Underworld?" Shu asked for confirmation. Free nodded in response. There was peace in the midst of them all.

"Does this mean we have to return empty-handed from the Feuer kingdom?" Valt thought. He did not know what to do now. If he can't do anything now, he will never reach the Shizukesu kingdom. Not only that, Valt knew he wasted a lot of Free and Shu's time. They've already helped a lot. He doesn't want to put them in more trouble. He clenched his fist and said, "You don't need to come forward. I can do the rest of the journey myself," he smiled. Shu's eyes widened, and he stepped forward to Valt.

"What are you saying? Shizukesu is far away from here, and it's impossible to get there on your own!" Shu protested.

"I agree," Free said. Valt surprisingly looked at the two males. It was unexpected. "You don't know this place. The way is long. Also, I want to see Shizukesu once, so I have no problem," Free smirked. He turned to Shu, who nodded.

"We will continue with you," the albino stated with sincerity in his voice. Valt was dying with joy. He smiled and nodded.

"Then let's continue!" Valt turned around and stated. "But," he stopped and gazed at the two males. "Where to go?" he laughed nervously, scratching the back of his neck. Shu sighed while Free thought for a time.

"I think I know someone,"

After the talk, the trio wandered around in the forest. Valt didn't have any idea of where Free was taking them. Though, he believed him. The royal family has already refused to help them. Now, this is their last hope. Valt narrowed his eyes when he saw something inside the forest. He fastened his pace to get closer for a better look. It was a hut. Free walked towards the house and knocked at the door. No response. Valt and Shu shared a look of confusion. "It's welcome, I suppose," Without a second thought, Free opened the door before Valt could stop him. The door opened with a creak. Free signed the two males to enter the house. As they entered, the door shut closed, making Valt and Shu flinch. Free said calmly and said, "Frightening your guest isn't a virtue," Free smirked.

"It is not a moral virtue to enter someone's house unknowingly, the magician." An unknown voice came from the darkness. Free chuckled in response and examined the house.

"I thought it was a common thing for me to come here. Well, this place has changed a lot," Free replied. Suddenly, a figure could be seen in the darkness. Light hits the person's face as his heterochromatic eyes glistened in the dark. Valt got a sudden shock when he realized that the person somehow represented the same appearance as the king of the Feuer kingdom. Was he related to him? That's the thought that popped up in Valt's mind.
