Yuqi: hiii
i was wondering if you could meet me at that spot like last night?
if it's a problem then just say so, i don't mind !!
14:30Soyeon: sure :)
19:00~~•~~
A big smile formed on my lips when Soyeon finally replied to my text almost 3 hours later. I was about to order some dinner for myself, when Minnie finally returned home.
"Nice of you to show up!" I called. Minnie came to the bedroom, looking really worn out. "Where the fuck have you been?"
"Sorry." She said. "I went to a friend's house to get my mind off of you."
"Good." I said. "I'm going out, by the way, so feel free to bring that 'friend' here in bed with you tonight."
Minnie sighed. "Can you like...cancel? We really need to talk."
Soyeon will be upset.
Don't you dare.
She doesn't deserve it, she's cheating on you.
"It's important, but I won't be long if you let me go now." I said.
"Go, then. Please be back before midnight."
Since I was already dressed in presentable clothes, I got my wallet and phone and left, about two hours earlier than Soyeon and I were supposed to meet. I left the house quickly and called Soyeon before heading for the place. Surprisingly, she picked up right away.
"Hey um, are you free to meet now?" I asked.
"I'm actually there right now so, yeah."
We hung up and I smiled. I remembered the place was kinda far away from my house, and I didn't really remember how I got to that bar I was at last night, so I just walked straight ahead first. I thought about Minnie, and how tired she looked and sounded. She said she went to a friend's house to get her mind off of me, but nobody looks that upset and tired after coming back from a friend's house. Her hair looked kinda messy too.
As I was getting lost in my thoughts, as always, I soon realized I was lost. I ended up wandering in a random neighbourhood and I had absolutely no idea how to get to where Soyeon was. I texted her to send me her location, and turns out I was actually pretty close. I took a turn, exited the neighbourhood I was in, and then got to that familiar part of the city that would soon lead me to the spot. Her spot. Soyeon.
After I walked by the bar I was in last night, I started running for the place. Slowly but surely I started to see less people around me, and knew I was getting close.
I arrived at the spot just as the sun set and made way for the night sky. I lifted my head to see Soyeon there. Her head was lowered and I could tell she was writing something, most likely the song she wanted to finish. I headed over to her and she looked up at me with a smile, closing her notebook.
"Hi," I said and went to sit next to her.
"Hey. Why did you come so early?" Soyeon asked. She put the notebook in her bag.
"Um, well, Minnie came home after like, over a day of not being there." I answered. "She looked really tired and wanted to talk."
Soyeon hummed. "Did she tell you where she was?"
"At a friend's house, but I don't know if I believe that."
At that moment, Soyeon got a text. I noticed her expression kinda dimmed, but she then put her phone on silent and in her bag aswell.
"Are you okay?" I asked.
"Yeah. Don't worry about it." Soyeon replied. "I think it's about time you just do what I told you. Leave."
