The Glitch Inside (A FNAF AU)

Chapter 5

Meanwhile, at Lewis's home in the UK, Lewis is looking at himself in the mirror. One of his eyes had fully switched to a glitchy purple. "Oh, sugar... I hope this isn't permanent. I don't have pink eye, which is good. But what am I going to do about this?" Lewis told himself. He took out a box of colored contacts that he had bought from Amazon a few days ago and opened it. He looked for his normal eye color, when the entity, known as GlitchTrap to Lewis had appeared next to him. "Already trying to hide me, Lewis?" "G-GlitchTrap! I didn't expect you to come here!" Lewis jumped in fear. GlitchTrap tilted his head to the side. Purple glitches surrounded the two of them. 

Lewis fidgeted with the box, trying to find a colored contact so he could try to hide his glitchy purple eye. "Tsk, tsk, tsk... It's only been about 5 weeks since your encounter with me. You've been trying to hide away from your friends. From your fans. But you can't hide from me, Lewis. You should embrace this new side of you..." GlitchTrap told. He sounded so convincing to Lewis, but he couldn't put his finger on it. Lewis turned away from him. "If you think trying to take over my body will make me submit to you, you're wrong, GlitchTrap. I'm Dawko, and I don't mess around." He put the colored contact in, closed the box, and put it away. GlitchTrap teleported in front of him. 

"That's what I like about you, Lewis. You're resilient. Intelligent. You have friends all over from YouTube and beyond. And by beta-testing FNAF: Security Breach... Steel Wool led me right to you," GlitchTrap explained as he put his hand on Lewis's shoulder. Lewis felt a shiver down his spine. "What does this all have to do with me? You could have chosen MatPat, Markiplier, or anyone else! Why me?" Lewis asked. "Why did I choose you? Well, Lewis... I knew that if I could get just one FNAF YouTuber who had very strong ties with Scott Cawthon, and even Steel Wool Studios themselves... I could take over the world. Or maybe it's not just me... We can take over the world, Lewis Dawkins."

Lewis covered his ears. "Leave me alone, Glitchtrap!" He yelled. "Leave you alone? Just like how your friends left you?" "Shut up!" Lewis's voice started to get glitchy as the volume increased. GlitchTrap smiled. "That's it, Lewis... Just let it all out." "Lewis? Lewis, where you at, mate?" 8-Bit Ryan called out. "Ryan! I'm in the bathroom!" Lewis replied. Ryan walks into the room. Glitchtrap disappears, and so did the purple glitches. "There you are! How's the beta testing going?" "Oh, it's going great, actually! I got about 2 pages worth of bugs. They're pretty minor, but I'm pretty much almost finished playing the game." 

"Oh, good. I've been worried about you, mate. A lot of people are. Even your fans. Are you sure you're okay?" Ryan put a hand on Lewis's shoulder. "I'm okay, mate. I guess I'm just a little freaked out," Lewis responded. They went into the living room and sat on the couch. "Freaked out? About what?" Ryan asked. Mabel cuddles up to Lewis. "Well, it's hard to.. explain. I don't know how to feel, mate." "Come on Lewis, you can tell me. I'm one of your good friends." Lewis sighed. "Something is taking over me, Ryan. I... I have to show you something." Ryan raised an eyebrow. Lewis took off his colored contact. "Lewis, what... What happened to you, mate?!"
