(I love this man leave me alone)

You had been camping for days, trying to hunt down a legendary bear that lived on these parts. You had a feeling the map a drunk man sold to you was fake, but its pelt was said to be worth a bunch of money and in the moment you had no money, so what could be the harm in trying.

You set down the bait near a large tree, where it would be easier to shoot the bear up close hoping it would smell the bait and eat it. Some of the bushes were rustling, and fast.  Something was there, so you readied your gun. 'It couldn't be a bear, bears don't typically charge at something without it being a disturbance to them. Maybe its a cougar.' You thought to yourself.

Though it wasn't a cougar, but a slightly disheveled man running, holding his guns up in case anything shot at him.

"Jesus! Whatcha running away from, huh?" You shouted from a couple yards away, poking your head up from the fallen tree you were hiding behind. The man jumped in surprise, probably from your shouting, but started to laugh while leaning against the tree you placed the bait next to. You rolled your eyes and walked over to him. At least a good story will pass the time. And the bear probably isn't even real anyways.

"Heh, its quite a funny story. A bunch of bounty hunters found me and was gonna take me to some jail up west, but as the smart man I am I got away from 'em, grabbed me guns and ran!" The man laughed.

"So I'm talking to an outlaw right now. What makes ya think I won't turn you in?" You asked jokingly. Only a complete asshole would take this guy, who was pretty bloody, and stick him in a jail.

"Ah shut it. I've seen yer face round on bounty posters, love. Quite a price, but not as big as mine!" He boasted. "We'd both have the rope round our necks if we turned each other in."

You let out a hand for the man to shake. "Y/N L/N, though I guess you know it by now." You chuckled. He shook your hand but kept shaking it for about ten seconds, thinking of a cool way to introduce himself.

"Sean MacGuire. Can we get me bandaged now or are ya gonna leave me here holdin' your hand?" He asked. It was the only flirty remark he had for the moment, okay?

You pulled away from the longer than usual handshake and began to rummage through your satchel for some sort of bandages or something to clean up the red head.

After finding a rag, you started working on Sean's gunshot wound. It wasn't the worst one you saw, but Sean certainly thought it was. "Ya think its gonna scar?" "Now I'll have one of those badass scars." Though you kept reassuring him it would fade away soon.

After you doctoring his wounds, Sean decided he would stick with you for the rest of the day, just because he believed 'it would be safer' for him.

"This is boring!" He whined as you waited for something to find your bait.

"You're the one who insisted to stay with me for the rest of the day, not me." You stated, not looking at Sean.

"Listen, that bear ain't real! Even if it was it would've been killed by now." Sean explained.

"What would you rather we do?" You inquired rhetorically.

"Get a bunch of beer bottles and see who shoots more of em."

"Do you want to die?! Bounty hunters are all over lookin' for you! We'll have nooses around our necks by tomorrow morning!"

"C'mon! I promise we won't get caught. Plus you got ol' Dead Eye MacGuire here! Ain't nothing gonna get past me." Sean put his arm round your shoulders.

"I never heard anyone call you that." You rolled your eyes. People mostly called him a drunken idiot, or just a plain basterd.

"Well, people in my gang call me that." The man shrugged.

"Why don't you go back to 'em? I mean, they must be looking for ya."

"I'm waaayy to far away from them. Aren't in their old spot, an' I can't write. So guess I'm fucked." He nervously laughed.

" I'm sorry to hear that, MacGuire. Maybe you'll find them soon. It ain't impossible."

"Enough with the sappy shit, lets go shoot some bottles!" Sean exclaimed, standing up from the fallen tree.

"I already said no, Sean. We both have huge prices on our heads and the bounty hunters you escaped from are probably still lookin' for you." You reasoned.

Sean sat down and pouted. "They ain't gonna catch us, even if they do I'll kill em all!"

It seemed like the sky got darker every second, and soon the only light you had was the moon. "God Damnit. Well, I set up camp farther in the woods, you can stay with me until you find your gang." You pointed behind you to the woods

"Well I was gonna come with ya anyways, where else would I go?" He joked.

The two of you walked through the woods to the small camp you had built.

"So, why'd you get caught by bounty hunters? I mean did you just get caught when on a robbery or what?" You asked, sitting down next to where the fire would be and struck a match.

"Me and my gang went to rob a boat, didn't go as planned and Pinkertons an' Bounty Hunters came out every door! I tried to fight them off but they smacked the back of me head." Sean explained.

"Jesus! That was you?"

"Me an' my gang, yep. Wonder how the lot of us are still alive."

"Do you think they're out looking for you?' You tilted your head.

" Hell if I know, they'd be killed if they stepped foot in Blackwater. Probably for the best if they don't come lookin' for me." Sean shrugged. "Yeah, those damn Pinkertons basically tortured me, but I never said nothing!"

"As I said before, you can stay with me till you find your gang." You reminded him. "Your more than welcome to."

"An' when they do find us, you better join the gang too! It'd be much better than staying by yerself."

"We'll see if I can handle you until then."

"Pssh, you will! I'm the funniest man you'll ever be with!"

You laughed and rolled your eyes at the Irish man. "Can't believe I went from hunting a bear to hunting down a gang with you. Guess the bait led in the Irish." You shrugged.
